History and Hits: Inside Stockholm's Vasa and ABBA Museums
Filmed May 2024
We LOVED Stockholm. It is a beautiful, clean, walkable city. Here's a look at 2 of the museums we explored, the Vasa and the ABBA museum!
*Vasa Museum (Vasamuseet)*
Get tickets to the Vasa in advance, here: gyg.me/jlCTiuRx
The Vasa Museum, located in Stockholm, Sweden, is dedicated to the Vasa, a 17th-century warship that sank on its maiden voyage in 1628. The museum was opened in 1990 and is one of the most visited museums in Scandinavia.
Key Highlights:
The Vasa Ship: The main attraction is the Vasa ship itself, which has been remarkably preserved. It is the only almost fully intact 17th-century ship that has ever been salvaged.
Exhibitions: The museum features numerous exhibits related to the ship, including items recovered from the wreck, such as clothing, weapons, and tools. There are also exhibits detailing the construction of the ship, life on board, and the historical context of the time.
*ABBA Museum*
Get tickets to the ABBA museum in advance, here: gyg.me/VdHyD1I9
The ABBA Museum, also located in Stockholm, is a celebration of the famous Swedish pop group ABBA. Opened in 2013, the museum offers an interactive experience that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the world of ABBA.
Key Highlights:
Interactive Exhibits: Visitors can see costumes, gold records, and memorabilia from ABBA's career. Interactive exhibits allow fans to sing, dance, and perform with holograms of the band members.
History and Music: The museum showcases the history of ABBA, from their early years to their rise to international fame. It features personal stories, interviews, and insights into the band's music and career.
Temporary Exhibitions: The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions related to ABBA and other musical artists.

I live in downtown Orlando and came across your Cotswold Way video while researching hiking trails in UK. Truly enjoyed all of the videos. I'm glad you guys made it back. Could you provide me the company that you used?
Nice! We’re in Clermont! We booked through CotswoldWalks.com 😊 Thanks for watching!
@@Off.Day.Adventures I used to live in Heritage Hills and then in Minneola. Great places, but they are building everywhere.
My family has never done things like this I have no friends that do things like this and now I'm sad that I've never done things like this..... I love it
My religion is not your costume. Have some respect for our Messiah and his mother🙏🏾✝️ please and thank you
😂😂😂
Jesus is not a religion. He also created humour.
You practice first century Judaism? Wow! I’ve never met a first century Jew!
THIS COMMENT 🙌🏼 Have you ever read John Eldridge’s book “Beautiful Outlaw” ? So good! A lot about Jesus being funny - love it!
Years ago in our town of 23,000 people we had a guy stripped down on one side of town and walk naked all the way to the other side of the town to kill somebody

Oh I miss having a holiday games all my family has passed away except for my 19-year-old daughter who's in college

Just back from CC and the beautiful Christmas lights - best I've ever seen, and I once spent Xmas in New York! This is from 2022; this year's are even better. I tapped the CW sign for you. Merry Christmas! th-cam.com/video/6HVXXR-smXs/w-d-xo.html

I also live in Florida, and understand goals and bucket lists and hikes but also having a job and being in normal American shape. Might I suggest the Camino de Santiago? No.....the Frances is pretty challenging but also is 800km and can be too much an undertaking with jobs.....however, you only have to do 100 km to get your compostela, which is the certificate of completion. And there is not only one route. So.....might I suggest the Portuguese coastal......walkong along the beach till it joins the central and ends in Santiago, which you can then go further. It should only take about 12 days and the Portuguese are so kind and speak English. The hike itself is doable and it is set up for success.....pilgrim meals and albergues ever night to make it affordable.
Love this way of sharing the news, so cute
That’s so cutee ❤
was sea rough? 🌊
Nope!
congratulations ❤
Thank you!
we want to do this but dont think we would make it 😂
Keep watching I barely made it but it felt SO GOOD to finish 😂
@Off.Day.Adventures we watched them all bout 2 times now u 2 did great
@@Off.Day.Adventures just subscribed hopefully u do more hiking in the uk
That’s the plan!! ❤️ thank you!
@@Off.Day.Adventures we will do it with u 😁
Thanks so much for these videos, you two! They've helped me plan our trip for next September. I think we will be doing 10 days of hiking, plus a rest day in Painswick. We're fit enough, but those hills have got me thinking. And we walk a lot, but we've never done more than two consecutive days of 25,000+ steps, where the CW is like that almost every day. I'm going to try to book a few of the same places you seemed to really like.
We’re so glad!!! That’s honestly the perfect way to do it I think. A rest day lets you enjoy more! And September is when we did it too, hopefully the weather stays nice! HAVE THE BEST TIME!!!
I haven't done these but I have them on my list: Centennial Trail A 125-mile trail through the Black Hills National Forest that connects Bear Butte State Park to Wind Cave National Park. It's a moderate trail that can be completed in 5-8 days, and is best hiked in the spring through fall. OR: George S. Mickelson Trail A 109-mile trail through the Black Hills that was formerly a rail line. It has over 100 railroad bridges and four tunnels, and is primarily paved with crushed limestone and gravel. A lot of people ride bikes on this trail.
Congratulations 🎉
The giggle bc they know how babies are made lollll
Lovely, nice news for once!
Congratulations, to a delightful couple. I followed you on the Cotswold Way. There is a very lucky baby on the way to be born to a couple of lovely lovely people. Keep well and all the very best❤️❤️❤️❤️
I think that was conceived on the Cotswold Way
Cotswolds was more than a year ago 😂
@Off.Day.Adventures Oooopps sorry I can't do maths x
How many days does this normally take?
Depends on the person, some people can do it in a few days (3 or 4) - depends on the type of trip also, more relaxed, could even take 15 days!
I’m not even family and I’m tearing up. Their reactions were everything 🥹
Omg thank you! You’re so sweet 😭😭😭
This was such a cute and intimate way to share it with them. How sweet. I wish i recorded when i told my mama. Her reaction was so cute!
I bet it was so special! 🥰🥰🥰
Are people really still running around saying "WE are pregnant"? Meanwhile, if a trans man gets pregnant, "You are not a man, men can't get pregnant".
Couldn’t have done it without him 🤷🏼♀️
Awwwww❤❤❤❤❤congratulations
Thank you!
