“The Dog Inn” 😂 as spoken, has an alternate meaning surely no lost the locals 😂 😂😅😂
Should have stopped at the Ancient ram inn at wotten under edge 13 century, reputed to be the most haunted house in England
Add American couple to walking the cotswold way. Should get more views. Your videos are really good and deserve more .
Can of Carling was an interesting choice of beer. I think most brits would try to avoid that like the plague 😂
He had to try everything...ha!
These videos are so addictive... I couldn't stop watching all the videos in the series. Thanks for recording everything and congrats on completing the trail
Glad you like them!! We loved it!
The noise you heard and weren't sure what it was, was a pheasant calling! Just finished the Cotswold Way three weeks ago and we did it in nine days like you - It is so lovely watching you go through the landscape and to compare your experiences to ours - not too different, but we are twice your age and carried our own bags, so it was a bit tougher on the feet :-)). Well done guys! xxx
Ahhhh thank you! WOW that is impressive! Congrats to y'all!!!
Like many others, I came across your ‘Day 1’ quite by chance & watched your first 6 days thereafter. The videos are so well put together with a great balance of the physical efforts of the trail, the ever changing scenery, the atmosphere & culture you absorb so readily. Your videos are joy to watch so & you are a great couple. Awaiting Days 8&9 now. Best wishes from Cheshire.
I live in Cheshire, please visit Chester its unusual, Roman ant cute.
Well done guys , yes we do commemorate our war dead in every town , village, city and on the 11th of November at 11.00 we all have a 2 minutes silence in remembrance and lay wreaths . 😊
Well done guys!..funny, I live on a street called Cotswold Way, I never knew it was a walk!.
Thank you for a great video, I was in the Dog Inn myself last August.
Nice videos folks
Excellent as usual, a lovely couple.
Guys great upload 😂😂, your energy is just unmatched!
Thanks for watching!! And just wait for day 8...our energy finally dips - ha!
Watched all 7 enjoyed.
Been looking forward to this vlog. Really enjoyable with genuine people.
Well guys! this one looked like Rachel was really getting into it, and revelling in both the pleasures and discomforts of the day. Well Done the pair of you. You very nearly achieved one of my wishlist drinking a pint at a pub while watching a local cricket match.
THANK YOU! Almost at the finish line - I could feel it, ha!
As others have commented, great video and a lovely couple.
I assume you have visited the UK before (most visitors always do London on their first visit!!), if not then even more impressive. In any case well done and thanks 👍
Really enjoy your videos well done 👌
I've been enjoying this series so much that I've been rationing episodes but after this I'm all caught up. Great videos and a smashing couple.
Thank you for watching!!! New one soon, I promise!
Bout time! I’ve become weirdly attached to your journey. Up and at em!
Sorry for the delay - the final videos will be up MUCH sooner :) Thanks for watching!
@@Off.Day.Adventures Look forward to them. You two have done an awesome job, both in the walk itself and the super entertaining content. All the best to you both, from a wet and chilly Lancashire.
Great stuff . Love you’re easy dry sense of humour that comes through ~your stoic attitude to keep going …….to the next pub !
I’m already looking ahead to your next escapade !
Thank you for watching!!! :)
Enjoying your videos. I may do this walk now. If you enjoyed this walk then I heartily recommend Wainwright's Coast to Coast ( with rest days!). It chimed with me when you said 'it reset your soul' as I have always found long distance walks wonderfully focus you in the 'now' and make you forget other less important stuff.
I hope that when you are able you do a post together reflecting on the walk and your impressions of England in general.
We will!
@@Off.Day.Adventures It seems you enjoyed your time in Dear Old Blighty.... I'm so glad.
You should try the Welsh Coastal Path next, only about 300 miles and 30,000ft of ascent 😊
NO WAY!! HAHA!
Really inspiring thank you. I always carry Compeed or similar and tape which I use as soon as I feel any sign of rubbing or potential blister
Good idea!
I've thoroughly enjoyed your Cotswold Way trail.I was there in september and the heat was just too much.Well done for battling through the heat and blisters.I feel you are taking us on a journey with genuine warmth as friends rather than just subscribers.I hope you return to try another trail.Cleveland Way would be good.
Oh my THANK YOU for saying that!!!!! Glad to have you here :)
Very enjoyable, thank you! One wonderful thing about these walks is the memories of them will stay with you; and you can wander through them whenever you want.
Have watched your entire playlist. Shoutout to "Mark from the States" as he's reacted to a couple of your videos, and that's why I'm here. Respect to all 3 of you. Looking forward to your next 2 videos :)
Thank you for watching! And we're watching his videos too! Very entertaining!
Commented elsewhere but it is so well produced .
Oh no ! Having binge-watched your series I've run out of new posts...hurry please and give us more
SOON! I promise! (Tomorrow 😉)
Bravo hope you loved our beautiful countryside ❤
Really nice video ❤
Gloss-ter-shur 😊
Note that Google helpfully offers to translate this to English!
Perhaps you could return & do the Pennine Way sometime. Regards
Keep drinking those beers! You need the calories! 👍🍻
Just stumbled across these videos. Very well done! You were lucky (or is that unlucky?) with the weather!
Thanks for watching! And I'd say very lucky...and very sweaty HA!
Just a normal summer here. July was the worst one on record, not a normal July at all!
By the way June was hot and sunny for the entire month with not a clue in the sky!
Glad to see your wonderful videos are starting to be picked up by reaction channels, much deserved. 🤞 you can get to 1k subscribers so you can start monettizing your channel so you can get some extra rewards ❤
Congratulations on getting to 1K, hope you get your channel monetized (if that's what you want!) now 🤞❤️
You guys missed the Ancient Ram Inn when you were in Wooton its one of the most haunted places in Britain
WHAT! Uhhhg I would have LOVED to see that! Guess we have to come back ;)
Rachel is no longer walking, she is hobbling along
i think rache did double the amount of steps you did
Your videos are such a joy to watch! Two lovely people and amazing countryside from start to finish. Hope you'll come back and do another long walk soon, maybe the Pennine way??!
Thanks for walking the beautiful Cotswold way, saves me doing it🫢 I am surprised you haven't used a pair of hiking poles. They would of have spread the load and impacted less on your hips and knees.
They make the accents and descents far easier.
I hate hiking poles. I carried a pair all the way up Kilimanjaro and down again having used them for about an hour. I prefer my hands free. I've trekked in many places in the world, and you don't see locals using them in the Himalayas, Ethiopia, Cost Rica, Turkey, Andes in some very mountainous places. Only in a few places in Europe do some locals use them. You don't carry your load on the arms, the legs do 95% of that. Balance is maybe the only reason.
