Despite being a filler arc the Makai Tree Arc still has it's far share of wacky monsters that need some explanation. Almost every single Cardian is based off some sort of mythological or folklore creature which lends itself for some pretty interesting origins for some of these monsters. So in typical fashion for the channel I have taken every single one of them and analyzed them for your viewing pleasure.

I mean, if you're a fan of the series, surely you're not ignorant to the DiC dub and all of its ... Eccentricities... "Sailor Scouts" was a DiC brainchild because "soldiers are bad". The music was the DiC opening, also.
Yeah poke fun at it constantly; its the version I grew up with and still have the VHS copies of. In this very video I even make fun of the CEO and writer of the American Sailor Moon theme song Andy Heyward so yeah I know a thing or two.
@@SimpsanSimpai then why not allude to the notoriety of the DiC dub for the verbiage they chose rather than using the phrase "Their words, not mine" which has a tone of ignorance? A cheeky comment about the DiC dub would be well received with how notorious it is, and solidify oneself as cultured in all things SM.
The long awaited follow up is finally out as well if you haven't seen it already please check out the video on the Cardians. Eventually every minion group will be gotten to so a playlist will be made once Droids get finished.
Let me know if you all like the visual changes done to the Mercury Super Computer as well as the visuals. They took a long time to cook up but I'm happy with how they turned out.
@SimpsanSimpai They're fantastic. This makes the characters easier to see compared to last time. What are your thoughts on the Droids as a group?
@@TheIntratec9 I'd have to reanalyze them but the droids as a whole were a lot of fun they don't get tedious like some of the later monsters of the day do so they are at least effective.
@@SimpsanSimpai Even though the Daimons are your favorite, would you say they got less Interesting?
@@TheIntratec9 I'd say Lemures are probably the worst group as a whole. The Phage were slightly more interesting design wise but I'd say there is a falling off after the Daimons.

Hi! Sorry for commenting again and I don’t know if you found this yet, but I found where “Umino is handsome if he takes off his glasses” came from. In the Infinity art book, in the section where we see the Sailor V concepts, there is a little doodle about Amano (the Sailor V Umino) that Naoko says that he is handsome without the glasses and intelligent. So either the wiki/people are just confusing the two characters or they think since one Umino design has that statement, all Umino designed people are like that.
I suppose not all Uminos are created equal. That's a pretty deep dive for that information so I'd assume someone mixed up some of the information at one point or another; the community tends to have a lot of inaccurate lore thats been circulating that is just flat out wrong I've learned after the iceberg video.

The monsters of the first season were the best - they were truly terrifying. After that they just kept on getting goofier.

Old school Windows Media Player in 144p gave me nostalgia
Sad to see this franchise just sell mediocre tie ins with Fire Striker, Zepeto and another recent one I forgot but not really worth remembering cause it will be forgotten and preserved only in wiki fan pages. It had that mobile game Moon Drops getting cancelled sometime in 2017 or 2018 if I recall correctly. It also had that Luna DLC skin with Capcom's Monster Hunter and that is the closest thing it would be getting in the mainstream market. Even with a community growing with the Sailor Moon S fighting game Bandai Namco wasn't interested in a revival.

With how slim the American market was for these games I can only imagine how sparce everywhere that isn't Italy was... Germany had their own "game" too but I couldn't even find a download to that one.
Now this style of video is a vibe. it's so 2005 in a good way.
