uh anyone know how to even play audio from the "quick sampler"? i know that sounds like a stupid question but I have no idea why everything is so complicated and outdated on logic. like genuinely why isn't there a play audio button lmao, I can chop it up but i cant even hear what I'm editing...

within Preferences the user should be able to choose their preferred default EQ and Compressor so those buttons would be even more handy

I use an old iMac with Vetura & have 2 bootable ext drives with Ventura. On the T9 drive it Logic automatically updated to the latest version but on the T7 drive it did not! Any thoughts?

I wish al plugins with a Wet/Dry Mix could be locked at the amount you are Mixing with the plugin - that way you could flick thru presets and hear the same amount of Effect..

Hey, great video! Still on Ventura (and currently on a critical mission) so will have to wait till February to update the OS and then the Logic version :( I also use summing stacks 99% of the time (VS folder stacks) There's a quicker way to create them, that's using SHIFT-COMMAND-G (instead of D) No dialog box, stack created straight away! (For folder stacks use SHIFT-COMMAND-H) And no... I did not customise the shortcut, it was there since day 1. If it doesn't work now it still means you can customise it. Cheers!

after you get all the technical stuff done before recording do you have to do the same process for every other song you record or will it already be done because u already have everything set up?

It’s a well explained tutorial. I’ll definitely give it a go. My only criticism would be is that the vocals sound slightly over compressed in the final results. You can hear the compressor kicking in and clamping the vocal segments at the transient points. I’d keep the chain but tinker with the compressor threshold or ratio a little more to smooth that out.

im working with other musicians online , what if inport tracks with 48khz sample rate into 44kz projects ? i know logic can scale them up or down but is there any downside on this ? beside the downscale to 44 from 48 of course
