Zion National Park - Is it the Worst Park in UT?
We are finishing out the UT Big Five with Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, & Zion before heading up to Great Basin.
On this episode we visit the very popular Zion National Park for a day. We made a big mistake by visiting on a Holiday weekend and might have to make a trip back in the off-season to give it another chance.

Kimbo needs to make travel trailers and toy haulers.
@@TheAdymiller I agree!
So wish it was more detailed. Like the screws, the little stuff.
The screws I used are linked in the description 👍🏼 thanks for watching and good luck on your project!
Is there any water level gauge we can install on this tank?
Looks great man. Where can I find the metal strips to cover the walls to ceiling seam and the floor to wall seam?
@mopar_shawn939 I got the angle aluminum from local aluminum supply company, Ericksons Metal Corp. I think i used 1/8"x1"x1" or 1.5". If I built another one I would probably use the thin gauge aluminum for the ceiling trim (like you see in a lot of trailers from the factory) and cut my wall panel a couple inches shorter to make it easier to install and access the wiring. I really like the angled aluminum for the bottom trim though.
@@ShouldBeGood Ok thanks . So basically go with a wider angle at the top?
@@ShouldBeGood Not just wider but thinner gotcha
2 months of researching wall panels with no luck. Came to your channel and bam it's a Piedmont Plastics 2 exits up from me. Thanks man I really appreciate it.
@@mopar_shawn939 Can’t beat that! They are such a great resource and have many options in their Alupoly ACM. Thanks for watching and good luck on your build!
@@ShouldBeGood Absolutely. Now it's just explaining to my wife that I can't build a food trailer in 2 weeks lol. Thanks for the help buddy.
where are your paper gaskets?
@@larrywilliams4816 I don’t use the friction gaskets, just lubricate the rubber gasket and the locknut tightens right up. Thanks for watching!
That's the right way to do it on a food trailer. You weld the frame, very important for structural support.
dude . THANK YOU !! hours of white panel searching .. INSANE !!!
Thanks for watching and good luck on your project!
What type of metal did you use around your sinks and behind on the V? I'm trying to figure that out for my build.
I used brushed 3mm aluminum ACM panel. Same material I used for the walls, just a different color. I have a video in my series showing my cabinet enclosure build in more detail. Thanks for watching and good luck on your build!
Awesome! Thanks for the info.
Gas tank for utility trailer
@@hhazelhoff1363 it’s a converted concession trailer 👍🏼
Where did you get the adapter?
amzn.to/3HDTeMj Thanks for watching!
Are the walls behind the plywood insulated?
Yes I insulated them with insulation foam. It’s does make a big difference with temperature and sound reduction.
What material is the ceiling panel?
@@marnefox-barrow7166 aluminum composite material ACM. Essentially it’s 2 thin sheets of aluminum over a plastic panel
Hello thank you so much for all your help, i just finished building my trailer thanks to you! I noticed when my water pump is on my ceiling lights flicker, they are on separate brakes. Do you have an idea of why?
That’s awesome! Do you have it hooked up to shore power or a generator when that is happening?
What brand of panels did you use for the ceiling and walls and where can I find them, thanks
Here is the video of the wall panels with all info in the description. Thanks for watching! th-cam.com/video/VU-CFG9pIPs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=SCfJ6uwS9ewoTyKv
Hello good evening did you custom order the rubber coin flooring to be 1 piece to install in the trailer? Thanks in advance.
Hi Chris, no I ordered the stock width that was wider than my trailer. I then cut the entire roll on my miter saw to 2" larger. This made it a lot easier to roll out and do a final trim with a razor blade.
You done it right, looks factory.
What size did you use for the window.. I have a 6x12 and I am having a hard time figuring what size I should go with and the limit on how big to go.
I used the 36x36 amzn.to/4bOR1JU but I think the 48x36 or 53x33 would be better. Here is the video for my window install th-cam.com/video/i8a9cAByryY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=UjaA-Tj7nbxo6Kbt
@@ShouldBeGood ahhh thank you!!
Does this style work well in rainy weather?
Yes, works great in the rain and the vent faces the back so water won’t come in while diving
What type of screws did you use to attach the panels to the walls and ceilings and size please.
Hi @CourtneyUglow I used white lathe screws 3/4” to attached the panels and used pvc edge banding to cover the seams. amzn.to/46iODc5
How did you trim out the metal after application? Thanks in advance for your advice and help.
Thank you!
Hello just curious i ran my wires in the ceiling above the insulation, but when i put the lights in i touch the roof panel and it burning hot wont it melt the wire in the ceiling?
@@valentinsalas8300 If you used romex wire it shouldn’t be issue as the melting point is above 194*F. If you used some other wire then I’m not sure. A lot of people in hot climates put a coating on the metal roof to reduce the heat. Here’s a link to on option amzn.to/4cBYhu4
Where do you buy the materials
@@joshuagarcia4080 Amazon, all links for the parts are in the video description. Thanks for watching!
Hopefully you start making $ soon ... i heard food trucks make bank
What trim did you used for the top that connects to the side walls
I used 1"x1" angle aluminum from trim on the top and bottom of the walls. If i did this again I would use the stock .040 aluminum that trailer manufacturers use though and cut my walls about 2" shorter so I would have easier access for the wiring.
Sorry I should have been more specific, what type of trim did you use on the ceiling seams?
Doing my build right now. Did you just covered the two venta on the side of trailer?
Hi Jose, no I cut holes in my new walls and reinstalled the vent covers. I actually added an adapter for my AC unit to connect to the back vent and use it to vent the AC.
Okay thats why but if i get a mini split those two vents holes i just cover up no need for them right
@@valentinsalas8300 I still like to have airflow into the trailer when towing because it keeps it cooler and clears out any odors but the vents are totally optional, they are not needed if you don't want them.
The p-trap is used to block off sewer gas. However, your vent pipe, which carries sewer gas, ends under the sink's drain board. What is the point of installing a p-trap then?🤔🤔
Hi Scott, that is not the vent under the drain board. It is an air admittance valve, which only lets air into the pipes to increase drain flow and prevent negative pressure to further prevent gasses from coming back up through the pipes. The gray tank is vented on the outside of the trailer. Thanks for watching!
Any video how insulating wall for trailer
No, I just cut 1” foam insulation to fit between the framing
What are the walls made out of I thought it was insulation until you pulled off plastic
It ACM, here’s the video on the walls th-cam.com/video/VU-CFG9pIPs/w-d-xo.html
Is there a reason for putting the window on the same side as the door? I’m debating where mine should go.. thanks for sharing!
Hi @beskie, it’s most common to put the window on the passenger side so when you park on the street the window is facing the sidewalk. I do wish the door was on the driver side though. If I ordered a trailer from the factory I would have them put the door on the DS.
@@ShouldBeGood ahhh, that is something I didn’t even think of! Wow Thank you!
how tall is your cargo trailer

where did you buy the flooring

I'm putting a rain water system in. I have an elect tankless heating tank & needed to know if I have to put the transfer pump between the water tank & tankless heater or should I put the pump after the heater then to shower head?
You always want the water pump after the water tank. Good luck with your project!
Great job!!!! What did you use for the walls
Thanks! Here is the video all about the wall panels th-cam.com/video/VU-CFG9pIPs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0jshPp1_8pH5ku24
Ur video is one of the better ones I've seen for hooking up a breaker box in a trailer so don't put yourself down yours is one of the better ones thank you
What flooring did you use?
Silver Rubber coin grip
Is this required or added feature for you
A mop sink was required for a self contained food trailer in Denver. I don’t have to use a commissary with this unit.
How did you get 240v from shore power
How much did it cost to due the build out want so see how much i would save vs built already
Charge question what’s name of the part that’s goes on the hole you made for the holes you made on the tank it seals from leaking
What are the little plastic tools called that you use to smooth down the vinyl?

I just watched all of your videos on your concession trailer build it turned out awesome. I’m gonna do the same thing, just curious how much money it cost ya from start to finish. Thx
PERFECT!!! Finally a perfect and simple tutorial on how to do this right. I am definitely a new subscriber.
Thanks for subing!
😮❤ I want one
hey man, great video. How well has the floor and adhesive held up? Any regrets/lessons learned with either? Thanks!!
Thanks, over a year later and the floor still looks like the day the I installed it. Good luck on your project!
No venting issues for the indoor units?
No, its been great. This concession trailer has a big serving window that is open when in use, so it pulls in plenty of oxygen to keep up with the heater. Since it is an instant water heater, it only runs when you open a hot water valve on the sink so it only runs for short periods. If using this in a camper I would recommend putting it in more of an open space and to have a window open when using it.
Thank you so for your help Can you help me for the leg of the sink mount to the trailer what size mount you use
1 5/8" Here is what I used amzn.to/3Wne7U2
