    Nice Job.... I am in the process of converting an 8x16 v-nose cargo trailer into an RV and Mobile Sign Shop. I am just starting the walls and cabinet construction. I just sold a 15-passenger shuttle bus that I lived in for 3 years and traveled out west during the winters. I had to sell the shuttle bus because I purchased a large format color printer to make contour cut decals/stickers, koozies, t-shirts, magnetics, banners, mousepads, etc. The large format color printer would have taken up a lot of storage space so I needed to get something bigger. I did a complete conversion series on the shuttle bus from the ground up and now am doing a new series on the cargo trailer conversion. They are on my YT channel.

    What size did you use for the window.. I have a 6x12 and I am having a hard time figuring what size I should go with and the limit on how big to go.

      I used the 36x36 amzn.to/4bOR1JU but I think the 48x36 or 53x33 would be better. Here is the video for my window install

    What type of metal did you use around your sinks and behind on the V? I'm trying to figure that out for my build.

      I used brushed 3mm aluminum ACM panel. Same material I used for the walls, just a different color. I have a video in my series showing my cabinet enclosure build in more detail. Thanks for watching and good luck on your build!

    Are the walls behind the plywood insulated?

    • @ShouldBeGood

      Yes I insulated them with insulation foam. It’s does make a big difference with temperature and sound reduction.

    Looks great man. Where can I find the metal strips to cover the walls to ceiling seam and the floor to wall seam?

    • @ShouldBeGood
      @ShouldBeGood  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @mopar_shawn939 I got the angle aluminum from local aluminum supply company, Ericksons Metal Corp. I think i used 1/8"x1"x1" or 1.5". If I built another one I would probably use the thin gauge aluminum for the ceiling trim (like you see in a lot of trailers from the factory) and cut my wall panel a couple inches shorter to make it easier to install and access the wiring. I really like the angled aluminum for the bottom trim though.

    • @MoparCrazy803
      @MoparCrazy803 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ShouldBeGood Ok thanks . So basically go with a wider angle at the top?

    Doing my build right now. Did you just covered the two venta on the side of trailer?

    • @ShouldBeGood
      @ShouldBeGood  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Jose, no I cut holes in my new walls and reinstalled the vent covers. I actually added an adapter for my AC unit to connect to the back vent and use it to vent the AC.

    • @valentinsalas8300
      @valentinsalas8300 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Okay thats why but if i get a mini split those two vents holes i just cover up no need for them right

    • @ShouldBeGood
      @ShouldBeGood  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@valentinsalas8300 I still like to have airflow into the trailer when towing because it keeps it cooler and clears out any odors but the vents are totally optional, they are not needed if you don't want them.

    first off, good job man it looks really good! videos like this really inspire me, im currently building my own food sale trailer out from scratch and im using pretty much everything that was recycled and from what i can find. I want to know how much those wall and ceiling panels were and what their called, what material or supply did you use for the flooring and price if possible. also for the sink and all that may i get a list of what you got and possible a quote of how much they were. and on your electrical work, nice job. what amp will you be running and the prices on the hardware that was used to build it. again appreciate the video. i hope to post my videos and pictures soon when im done with it.
