This is just sad. The lyrics are so clear. Everything is laid out. Spelled out. An old warrior is going into battle, struggling to remain relevant and consequential. He is old. His armor is wearing out. But he still wants to show that he means something. And what did these two hear in these lyrics? Caligula would grin. Yeah, let's concentrate on that. All the terrible things he did. People he killed. He is a serial killer.

Imo, Intermission is an integral part of the song, even though it is a different track. The 2 tracks played one after the other seems to highlight the jarring effect his mother's stroke had on him. One day, he's a kid just doing kid things, then instantly he is thrust into this dark world that shatters his life forever. The music perfectly describes this feeling.

Many people interpret too much into the fibonacci sequence :) Most is esoteric retrofitting with a huge margin of error, especially in architechture and art. The golden ratio and the golder angle represent a perfect ratio that when repeated forms automatically the perfect usage of the space. The fibonacci sequence is just a result of that evolutionary trait. So it's not like things in nature were build or "created" with the squence in "mind" but it's just a direct result of applying the optimal ratio to the growth of the petals of a flower. The actual golden ratio is (1+sqrt(5)) / 2. It's an irrational number and very precise. Many cases when people "claim" that they see the ratio somewhere, they almost always make arbitrary reference lines. When the ratio is 1.618033... or just 1.5, there's almost no visual difference, especially when you draw kinda thick lines. It should also be noted that there's the golden spiral which is kinda like the perfect spiral. There's also the fibonacci spiral. They are not the same, but similar. The fibonacci spiral is NOT a perfect spiral as the lower terms only approximate "Phi" (the golden ratio). The golden angle is just the golden ratio applied to 360° and is about 137.508°. Petals in flowers usually spread by this angle as it guarantees the least average overlap, especially when you go on infinitely. Flowers have to account for loosing petals, so just stacking them behind others is a waste of space. By arranging them by the golden angle, it's guaranteed that each petal will receive some sunlight. Even when in the 4th layer back. This is all just the result of evolutionary advantage. Those plants which are closer to the optimum are more likely to survive, and they have. The fibonacci sequence isn't perfect. It's just the rounding to the nearest whole number of the golden ratio. It doesn't scale in both directions as it starts with "1, 1" and can't go lower. The golden spiral can go infinitely small. As I said, the sequence is just a natural consequence of the golden ratio which is the actual optimum.

This is my first trip to you all channel. Br advised this is some master level drumming! Danny Carey is at a level most can only dream of! Observe his hand speed as this tune progresses. Many cannot believe a human being can do this. I contend that Mr. Carey is a complete drum line by himself!! This first section is merely a warm up for what is about to happen. ENJOY...............
