Our client purchased this bike 21 years ago as a fully restored model with zero miles on the speedometer. They have covered about 3800 miles since acquiring it.
It starts on the first kick, just follow the correct starting procedure. My client has replaced the oil pump, gas caps, magneto, fuel lines and other miscellaneous items over the years. They rode the bike regularly over the ensuing years. It is in great condition and we have receipts for all work and parts since they owned the bike as well as the receipt for engine rebuild by Starklite for the previous owner.

Beautiful!! 'Had 2 - '66 & '68. 'Loved them! (btw - the Dunlop K70 on the front is not a good choice. Probably contributes to that head-shake. K81, Conti. RB2, Avon Speedmaster - all better for front tire.)
In 1994, I had an opportunity to buy a fully restored 1968 Bonneville for $1,800. I turned it down. I've been riding Harleys. I was afraid if when riding the Boone that I would forget which was the shifter and which was the brake and wind up killing myself.
Why put these ridiculous handle bars on this great bike?
They are Western Pattern bars and were probably factory fitted. They are really comfortable bars, even if you don't like the look of them.
@@petergibbon3400 No way these were "factory fitted". And those mirrors - oh dear! 50-points alone off at any Concours Judging! And don't get me started on the Yank side reflectors and horn! The old Meridan guys are rolling in his graves at the "Yankerization" of their jewel! Oh dear!

Amazing how that 1980s truck survived & maintained in near mint condition after all these years. Whoever purchased this rare beauty should continue preserving this truck condition to the best of their ability. That truck is missing aright door side view mirror, but those are easy to replace. Other than that, this 1980s vintage truck maintained its good shape. Congrats to the previous owners in preserving this rare 1980s vintage! Again, to the new current owner of this truck, please take good care of it & continue to preserve that vintage truck as best as you can

In 2002 MV revised the F4 with thinner valve stems and much more power. There is little else to tell other than the EV02 on the tail piece. So this bike may have been first registered on 02 but it is an earlier bike.
