This 100% restored 1961 Dodge Power Wagon is one of the finest in existence today! This Power Wagon was first purchased by the Bolinas, California Fire Department from Van Pelt & Marchetti on 1/26/61 for $11,709.80. It accrued only 6800 miles during it's life of service and was retired in 1998, finding it's way to a second owner in San Jose who was going to restore it.
Unfortunately that owner never got around to the ambitious project. However the current owner and his son acquired the wagon from them and began a 'touch every single part' restoration that was carried out for 18 months between 2017-2018. It's been driven 400 miles since that restoration and won awards and participated in many shows.
It still keeps an ode to it's roots as a fire truck, but this Power Wagon is now mechanically and cosmetically perfect.
