Hi, what do you think of the strategy to invest in the top 5 biggest stocks by market cap? You check them monthly or yearly. If one drops out you just hold the company. If one makes it to the top 5 you just change the saving plan. Do you think this is a good strategy in comparison to an investment like the s&p500?
In my thirties and it's mad thinking back to the 2000's which seem another lifetime away, most of the people from back then went their own way
If I have 2 years of savings is it enough to find another way to make money except traditional job
Felt like I’ve seen this exact video before
These videos are really helpful man. Definitely are things that we need to hear. I’m 21, just getting out of a 3 year relationship as of a couple months ago. Didn’t realize how manipulative she was until she cheated on me and somehow made herself the victim in the scenario. I am on my growth arc, and your words are not taken lightly. Thank you for the quality content 💪🏻
As a small TH-camr, this really helped me get my confidence back man. Thanks for posting 🙏
Everything is good if you have balance, if your smoking every day and playing games all day then you should balance things out.
@@Bigchungus52227 I swear I’ve seen you in MW2 lobbies
@ Lol I hop on it a couple times every week dawg so I wouldn’t be surprised 😂
use to host CLs on ps3 also all the infection lobby’s and i’m up top on the leaderboard. got pretty known at one point. i know most people are against modders and being an adult i now understand but damn being 15 that shit was a trip.
If you are an American and feel like life is too hard just imagine being from a 3rd world country 💀
Dam i never made more then 300$ 😂
you play old cods on Xbox? or where do you play them?
Turning 28 this year, I was able to essentially do the same thing in my early 20's saving 30k of my 50k salary my first year working, leading me to be able to buy my first condo when rates were 3% and I have since bought another unit and am leveraging the first one at a good margin.
Is it worth leaving frugally so that you can be a milionaire in your 60s or 70s? At that point you're already dead and your good years are behind you. All the money can't serve you in the grave
Until you find out the truth about America.
I've been stuck at 1k subs for a while and found your content very engaging. I have been on and off watching for a while now and started adding some of my own commentaries amongst my on camera videos to see if people like that sort of thing from me. Much respect for you man!
This makes me want to play all my old cod games on console. Lol. Too bad the only pc game i play is a very niche kind od game with a super low playercount. I used to enjoy making frag videos/montages but i guess those are a thing of the past?
Keep up the great work love the vids
That's a important topic you touched, especially when it's not made in scope of "get rich in your 20's" but rather solid research and rules. I'd like to share bunch of mine told by my grandfather when he found out I have my first job -Poor man buys the same product twice, as the asset he bought was only purchased because he cared about saving only, not the lasting duration of it. Which goes for let's say clothing that is necessary, not fancy. If you prepare for the winter, buy yourself a solid, military jacket on local flee market. It will for sure cost around 80$ but years and years of undoubtful service (also you won't get cold and sick which ofc also affects your wallet). I bought myself few leather belts made for border patrol guards here in my country in 1979 and I could hang a wardrobe on it and it'd still holds. Doesn't look new, but keep in mind the next rule: -Buy either for functionality or aesthetics. In low budget it's nearly impossible to get this both connected I drive a 1999 Golf IV with 1.4 engine and it gets me to work, to my gf, and as much as I'd love to drive faster because 74 HP ain't a beast - the car parts for it are twice or thrice times lower than to that BMW E36 i thought I'll buy and I'm happy I didn't So also think whether your next big purchase is for functionality or just to look cool. -Be stoic for a while, appreciate what you have Speaks for itself. I'm not a minimalist, yet we all don't need all these gadgets. Also, your social status is not defined by having an iPhone:) Much loves bros
theweeklyslap...wow good times
I like watching your channel man. Just come back for you
amazing video i wish i could do YT full time or even part time i really enjoy recording and editing my own videos unfortunately i'm very bad at it 🤣
TH-cam is a time game! Upload every single day if you can (don't spam upload ofc) and improve each video by 1%. You will see growth, if you put in the effort!
I got a channel with an RPM that ranges from $0.8 to $1.2, it's rough. Software tutorials basically mean 80+% adblock lol. Like anything creative in life, if you don't enjoy it then try something else. The only way to really succeed is if your interests align with an audiences interests.
For the love of the game 😈
Great video bro. You’ve definitely inspired me to start putting myself out there and upload more. You should make a video on how you capture, record and upload gameplay? Usually those videos tend to do well. Big love from Australia
Respect for the consistency - just trying to upload my first video took longer than I imagined 😅 Will try to pop in your stream, is it just on YT or also on Twitch?
Hey man, I’m glad to see you succeed especially as you’re from the northern part of the US like myself. Your videos have been very helpful to me as someone in their 20s trying to figure out life and grow as a creator. Keep grinding brother!
the INSPIRATION, can't believe its almost february
I’ve noticed from my channel income that it’s extremely hard to make good revenue unless you have your own business back end or take on sponsors. Adsense alone is not much at all. Especially for the gaming niche which has lower CPMs. My CPM is around 15 but it doesn’t reflect in my actual revenue. Either way always cool to pull off the hood and get to see what’s underneath! Thanks for the data
You inspired me to start my channel. Have already posted 4 videos. The quality is lacking so im not seeing any crazy success yet, but hopefully i will get my first subscriber soon.
My portfolio includes SPLG, SCHD and O 💪
I enjoyed the video brother!! I love watching your journey on TH-cam. I just started my channel this month and I post primarily tattoo\art related content, eventually I want to present the logistics and business aspects of this industry to my audience. I draw a huge inspiration from channels like yourself!! Keep up the great work and looking forward to what this year will bring. Much love from Sacramento & God bless you brother!! 🙏🏾🤝🏾
Being proud that you are better than a developing country is similar to an adult flexing that he can beat a child in a sport. In terms of how great life could be, developed nations should only be compared with other developed countries when it comes to quality of life metrics.
Leaving to the EU as soon as I graduate. Spain or Poland are my top options, but I'm on my way out.
I made a video inspired by this format but in mainly a fitness channel and I think i wanna give this a crack as its on thing so im probably gonna make another channel and be specific about it. Im only at the beginning of my savings journey so i’ll be making videos from the perspective of taking ur advice and hoping to help other people start who arent started like i wasnt until coming across you, bizpath etc.
Thank you and good luck with the fitness youtube journey! Happy to see you start to look into finances more. Be careful, do research, take a long term view, and you should be in a good place!
the Gaming RPM is extremely low for youtube :/ its crazy seeing the financial channels get $10 for 100 views, just gotta keep grinding! (but a heads up for people starting youtube enjoy the process don't chase the money!)
i would love a huge RPM like that, but we take what we can get. You are doing a great job keeping the older cods alive as well!
@@whylearntech appreciate it bro! love seeing your channel grow! the numbers playing older cods have definitely grown recently
Enjoying the content! I’m sure you will have 100k subs before you know it.
i hope so too! thanks Brett! Love the first name, reminds me of my childhood (Brett Favre)
I think you should Make a video on making resumes- think it would help a lot of of people with there futures.
adding this to the WhyLearn Wednesday Idea Bank!
Love these update videos, I think they're very wholesome. Your journey has been awesome to see bro! I've been in the game as long as anybody but I love it just the same even with a small following of my own. I think I've taken away mostly the amazing people I've met. I'm not huge about making money on here, even tho it would be awesome, but I like to have a space to interact and make new friends and memories I can look back on and enjoy myself. Maybe one day I can make it a full time job, just like you very well could! Can't wait to see the day you hit 100k buddy, and I hope to be there to see it
thanks Collins! i really enjoy your stuff. I think your time is coming to have something hit the algo. That is also a reason I have videos out there is to go back and look at my thoughts when I am 40, 50, etc. Maybe even showing kids "dad's" old youtube videos haha. Would be thrilled to hit 100k, hoping sometime in the next 2 years if this growth continues
big fan sir im an 18 year old whos been looking for the advice you give your channel is a gold mine for me I look forward to seeing your growth in the future
Appreciate it, man! Good luck with your journey!
Thanks for this video. 2023 was already a rough year for me and 2024 slapped me even harder. These stay positive / think differently videos are a huuuuge relief / help. Thanks for said videos. 👍
I love this channel, your such a down to earth man. Keep up the work!
thanks Lane. happy to have you here!
Great growth WhyLearn! My very first month on TH-cam on my main account…. I made $12… keep doing this and you’ll be seeing $10k+ months soon. Your RPM is actually much better than mine ($0.70)
would love to see a super in depth analytics of your main channel! $12 to $10k+ is crazy. Cool to see you putting time into other channels as well
Ngl your videos are always bangers and I appreciate your insight on every topic you post about. Congrats on the growth and keep at it
Appreciate that! It's been a wild ride, let's keep this going!
RPMs are always terrible in January on TH-cam. Companies start spending less on advertising immediately after holiday season (which is highest RPMs get every year in November and December) but they tend to get back to normal in March. We all hate January haha By the way love the content man. Been a silent viewer for a while but I love what you’re doing!
yo you have an amazing channel! As a guy from wisconsin, I love that your top video is about Giannis :) 2021 was one of the best years to be in milwaukee ever. I have definitely noticed the january drop off. glad to hear its normal
@ Thank you! And yeah I’m a big fan of Giannis, he’s the sole reason I support the Bucks haha. Hopefully they do it again this year
Wow, this is a video I really needed right now. TH-cam has been my dream for a long time and seeing your breakdown of your monthly income, what works and what doesn't, and talking about what I need to work on, is perfect timing. I'm currently working on getting monetized and making TH-cam my full time job so thank you for making such an honest and open video. I subbed from your “living cheap” video and can't wait to see where you go next! Keep it up! 💪
good luck on following your dreams! you'll be monetized soon with a few more good videos that hit the algo
@@whylearntech Thanks brother! 🙏
You got my sub forever 🫡 the goat.
appreciate it :) GOAT is generous, maybe someday
Great video WhyLearn! I have a small channel helping people learn how to code so this was useful to see. All the best across the pond :)
love seeing a fellow computer scientist here! good luck in your journey :)
What if you post videos at the same time on both here and Rumble? Could that help build a community more efficiently?
don't have a rumble or other forms of social media. I will likely make some other platforms in the future!!
