I had to learn this lesson early in my life because my "yes" was stretching me way too thin. No is a powerful and ACCEPTABLE word. You should never have to feel bad about saying no. Good vid man!
Ironically in my experience saying no lead to all of the greatest opportunities that came my way. Thank you for the reminder brother. Best of luck in getting back to your roots
Incredible video! One thing I’d like to add, is that if you don’t want to always be doing things you don’t want to do, but have a hard time saying no, then try making your own schedule. If you plan out your week, you have better excuses to get out of doing things you don’t want to do. An example I can use, is that I’m planning on watching the Bills vs Ravens game this weekend, it’s a huge game and I can’t wait to watch it. If anyone asks me to do anything on Sunday, I can let them know that I’m actually going to be busy watching the game and won’t be able to. If you schedule out your weeks, you can take your time back and focus on doing the things you enjoy.
great point. Makes it much easier to have valid excuses to give people plus gives you thinks you enjoy. Planning is also just a great skill to have in general to stay on track with your life
This legit found me at the perfect time, WhyLearn, even if this gets barely 1k views , only 1 person benefiting from your video is MORE THAN enough (let alone hundreds or thousands of people). Thank you.
not sure if this'll be one of my better performing videos, but really thrilled you found value from this :) thanks for the kind comment. Go do what you need to do!!
Life is too short to say yes to everything and not not put yourself FIRST. Cant pour from an empty cup and I've found saying yes to everything just has people constantly moving the goal post to how much time they can take from you. Great topic and video!
That guy had beef with me, he trapped me in a corner one game on my team so I responded by shooting down his killstreaks instantly when he was on the other team. he returned the favor
Great points made, I've been thinking about a lot of this recently and having this discussion helped me unravel my thoughts for my personal situations.
I appreciate that you included caveats about finding a balance for this advice because I've seen one of my estranged former buddies complain on social media that no one was inviting him out to do things when the reason that he stopped getting invitations from my friend group was that he would always flake or say no.
Great topic, it really goes for what you invite into your life. Saying no to certain friendships despite circumstances has been absolutely the right choice to maintain where I want to go in life. Loved your take on it, great video!
I liked how you approached this topic a lot. some very solid advice in here all too relatable to my personal life and other people I’ve seen first hand. there’s definitely a layer of reciprocity when someone does start to say no to more things. it’s more on them to initiate plans in future if the relationship matters. great video! 🙌🏻
Don't feel ashamed to say no for the plenty of people who want your attention for something, even a simple response to a comment. No one is deserving of YOUR time, it's only up to you to determine if it's something you're willing to engage with. Great points of advice as always, you're work is much appreciated by many of us who watch buddy
@ I get it lol I can usually respond to everything since I don’t have as many eyes on me (which is a good thing) and I have a good bit of free time compared to a lot of other people
I’ve always been a big people pleaser, it’s one of my biggest flaws, I’m naturally very sensetive and considerate but I feel like my family especially has always taken advantage of that and treated me awfully. It all started to change when I began setting boundaries. But I can’t help feeling like my family doesn’t like me as much now that I am more firm on what I will allow and not allow idk, it’s weird.
As a people pleaser. Learning how to say no took me like 10 years to finally say no it's really difficult. But you'll get used to it eventually and know who's worth saying yes too
I struggled with this and its because i cared too damn much about what people would think of me if i said no. I think it all boils down to if you care or not about how others perceive you.
So true man. No is a complete sentence. At work, I’ve noticed that people who can’t say no, get taken advantage of.
if you show a little toughness, people respect that

Thanks Buggy! Saying no is life changing
"Life is full of bitter people who said yes far too quickly and people who said no far too late"

happy to hear that! It's something I had a tough time learning how to do, but definitely helped me in many ways. Best of luck to you as well

i'm sure you've had to learn that with your business success as well! Lots of people want your time and you have to be more strategic
@ 1000% true bro
Never seen a chopper gunny shot down so fast

Loved your take on it, great video!
You have to do what’s necessary to keep yourself happy! Exactly
@ Always!!

I love you, man. You remind me of the good old days of youtube and people just being real.
Much love man. Happy to bring you some old TH-cam nostalgia!

we have been known to be "yes" people in the past
Saying “No” too often is my biggest problem.
on the bright side, at least you probably are pretty good about not caring what people think of you which helps too
@ Not really. Saying no is more of an avoidance thing
the people that are meant to be there will still be there!
Amen to that!
@@whylearntechhope you have a phenomenal 2025 too brother
I needed to hear this

I appreciate it Collins. I still love to interact with as many people as possible so I'm still trying to find the balance!

Happy Wednesday!! Love the video brother 🙏🏾🤝🏾
Appreciate you! Hope you are having a great one as well
I struggled with this and its because i cared too damn much about what people would think of me if i said no. I think it all boils down to if you care or not about how others perceive you.
as i've grown older, i've found that I cared less and less. Don't let others opinions of you change who you are!
Say "No" to this video ...
... to ruin your life ☠
hahahha YES!
Hey man can you make a video on moving out?
No
Dang it Dwight! get out of my comments and get back to selling paper
Funny how when it switched to bo6, i was thinking, how old is this game? why does it look worse? Lmao
hahahha yeahhhhhh oh well
The colors in the new CODS are so washed out and blurry for some reason, the old games are SHARP
Perfect topic I def needed this thank u WhyLearn!!

Bro missed lions vs packers for a date😮, to be fair if I had Jordan Love as my qb I’d miss the games as well 😂
