The biggest red flag I failed to pick up on in my last relationship was her unwillingness to compromise for me. It’s usually a symptom of a much larger issue, in my case, her seeing me as an option rather than a priority. My biggest piece of advice for guys who aren’t sure is to just trust your gut. It’s usually right.
I can attest to this. I was one of those who married and had a toxic marriage. I consider myself lucky, I did lose a lot but I didn't lose everything. This guy knows what he's talking about.
I spent 6 years of my 20’s with a toxic gf. It was so hard to leave but I’m so glad I did it. I lost so much money, potential, but most of all precious time. Now I’m at the end of my 20’s, but I’m far more mature, have more money, and am feeling optimistic. Just leave. I’ve been watching all your videos and they hit so well. All these guys out there stuck with a bad relationship, it’s far better to be by yourself then stuck with no way of happiness. Give yourself the chance.
These videos are really helpful man. Definitely are things that we need to hear. I’m 21, just getting out of a 3 year relationship as of a couple months ago. Didn’t realize how manipulative she was until she cheated on me and somehow made herself the victim in the scenario. I am on my growth arc, and your words are not taken lightly. Thank you for the quality content 💪🏻
still watching but already this is so important man, i think every guy needs to go through an absolutely terrible toxic relationship at least once because its a lesson that really can only be learned the hard way yk? I ignored all the red flags because this girl was soo beautiful and i ended up really suffering for over a year and wrecked my confidence (just like u said) but i am still glad it happened because i WILL NEVER make that mistake again lmao. as always, great vid my brother
In my opinion, I think you are most likely to get into a toxic relationship when you are going out and looking for a girlfriend. It’s like I’ve had friends where they were always seemingly hitting girls up and on dating apps, desperate to be in a relationship. And those people struggled to have anything healthy. But my friends who waited eventually happened to meet the right person and have stayed together since.
100% not just in relationships but in life in general even on the small scale of like losing a pen(odd example ik) once you stop searching and go back to routine it’ll pop back up somewhere if you love or want something let it go be free and if it’s for you it’ll be back sometimes not how you left it but just as you grow what your looking for will adapt as well
Same goes for friendships! One of my ex best friends also turned out to be super toxic. Its so hard to recognize when you are in it because at first they make you feel amazing just to subtly manipulate you into their world and then break you down. But I am glad I learned from that experience. Enjoyed the topic!
Great video, man. To the dudes out there, take time to understand your own pitfalls and history. If you can know yourself well enough to recognize which types of toxic partners you are most vulnerable to, it'll protect you well
This is definitely true. It's the reason why I stayed single for so long. Settling for less is scary. It's best to know someone for a good while before getting into a relationship to be sure. I avoided like 4 relationships because I decided to be friends with them first
I haven’t watched this video yet but I have to say I already agree, had my own experience with a toxic on and off relationship during my teens (neither of us were innocent) and ended up with pretty bad trauma from discovering she wanted to baby trap me, it honestly almost made me go off the wrong end as far as morality goes with anything in general, to anyone dealing with a toxic relationship that may have stumbled across this comment, please have the respect for yourself and the person you supposedly love and just end things. Even to this day I still have many things to process and deal with in relation to my personal experience with toxicity (it’s been years now) and I promise you the delusion you have that things can get better (of course context is a massive thing here) isn’t worth the amount of pain spending more time in the situation will cause. I hope you all find what you’re looking for❤️
Thanks for this man! I just got out of a relationship that I'm starting to realize was pretty toxic. I wish nothing but the best for my ex, but I don't regret breaking things off. Always appreciate you sharing your experiences WhyLearn.

been on a grind ever since started watchin ur vids. Love u man!, past 4 years been in a relationship its never been nice always distrust fights and what not
Absolutely! Seeing some of my friends go through them and man I can only say it just takes some of the best years away potential wise. All the more importance to picking the right partner and man I just covered that topic and just to give hope to the people reading this. If you find a great partner it’s lifechanging and you’ll see yourself succeeding way faster so it really is a make or break thing. Thanks for covering the topic, I’m glad you’re in a great relationship my man, and I think your advice will reach the right ones!
Was single for 7 years before hand but I had found someone early last year right as I was getting ready to graduate. There were a lot of glaring things telling me even in the beginning to end the relationship, but since it had been so long I didn't want it to stop and feel like I didn't give it enough effort. Probably my biggest mistake. Like WhyLearn said, I felt like I was losing myself over time, and eventually we mutually broke up at the end of last year. Fellas, don't over commit yourself for a girl or guy. Keep it casual, learn about the person first, maybe even start off as friends. Stay safe out there and good luck broskis
It does feel like I am getting spoilt by the high frequency of videos you make. I hope it won't lead you to burnout in the long run because you are bringing a lot of good vibes and energy. Anyways, thank you for your video again.
Awesome video, Thanks for the advice! I don't think I was in a toxic relationship or a bad one by any means but we grew apart and we are at different stages in life. I wanted to focus on my career and getting into medical school and she wanted to focus more on the relationship and growing together. Now I'm making 6 figures and about to start medical school this summer. She started dating a new guy 3 months after we broke up. We were together for 4.5 years. It hurts to see, but I think we both made the best choice for the both of us.
Almost wrecked a college career because of a toxic relationship, now have a very supportive partner that pushes me to pursue my dreams, and I do the same for her.
Im currently in a stage where I love my girlfriend, but I’ll admit she drinks excessively, I’ve told her in the past as well as had a conversation about it and told her that if she keeps on getting belligerently drunk with me that ima have to go, now what’s, and the last time she just told me that I should just leave her, but itm difficult for me to walk away because I love hard and for me this is the strongest relationship I’ve had, I’ve been cheated on many times and I’m just in a stand still and confused and stressed because i love this woman like crazy, but I feel there’s a leak in our boat and it may be slowly sinking and I might have to get away to protect my peace yknow.
i was in a relationship with this girl for a year but we ended up breaking up because i ended up cheating on her. it was my mistake because we was arguing for 2 months straight and i chose the easy way out instead of tryna work things through. now me and her been tryna fix things for like 4 months now? and tbh i can say there has been no progress whatsoever. whenever i feel like theres progress in the relationship it ends up falling flat and it starts over again. i honestly dont know what to do and i need some guidance to whoever can give me the best advice possible.
Repairing a relationship after infidelity is very difficult for many reasons. Things will never be the same as they were before. You need to decide whether you want to continue trying to make things work. Over time and with your genuine effort, you'll discover the answer to that question.
Yo man love your content. just a tip for the thumbnails, the text is nice but theres a lot of noise with the hud and the extra picture. If you can go into theatre mode or turn off the hud your edits would stand out a lot more. Keep growing bro :)
Hey! I’ve been really having a hard time processing life after college so these videos really help me start the day on a good note. Do you have any experience on college debt? Would love to know your idea on budgeting in today’s standards since rent is not 33% but more like 50% of your monthly income? Thank you for being you and genuine
I only spent a few months with her and she demolished my psyche. Still haven’t recovered, idk how to trust women anymore. The red flag that I ignored was blatant, shameless misandry.
We have opposite problems 😂. I cannot get a girl interested longer than 1-2 dates, and 95% of the time if I sense any kind of bullshit from the start I put them in their place maybe a bit too strongly.

Interesting that you brought up that “Lack Ambition” segment about one girl you were dating and were making over $100k… I also had a similar situation… though I am 28 and am not making a 6 figure income, I’m far from struggling but it rubbed me the wrong way when the girl, I was talking to, said I lacked ambition and I was unhappy. 4 years alcohol free and couldn’t be any happier.
