As my man here says, you have to take action! It's not hopeless, but you need to take steps because it won't be handed to you. I remember when i finally built my safety net and wrote my resignation letter - the last period I typed I felt this overwhelming sense of peace and optimism I hadn't experienced for 10 years. You have to be brave, but also strategic. I could have more money at this point if I stayed put, but i love my life so much more now, and that's priceless. So many things are just a trap.

My biggest struggle is that I have so many medium sized passions that I don't know what to put all of my energy into.
If I knew that "THIS" was my thing, and I knew exactly what I wanted, I would focus on that. But I have like five different main hobbies that I can't really tell which brings me more joy or fulfillment.
I envy the guy that does one thing and does it really fucking well, because I just don't know how to focus on one thing.

The process of figuring life out is the fun part. Treat it like a game. Don’t compare yourself to others. Just make sure you are leveling up from where you were this time last year.
WOW. I normally don't comment on youtube videos, but I feel compelled to do it now. This video resonates with me in so many ways--I've also been stuck in the same loop for years. While I can give credit to myself for being resilient and putting up with so many negative things life has to offer, I get angry at myself because I've become complacent. I've become so comfortable with living just to survive, that I've developed apathy for everything; no real passion, no dreams, just living life on autopilot working a job that I don't enjoy doing. Thank you for bringing light to a subject that so many of us struggle with and for providing us with a sense of hope moving forward. Excellent video!

I’m going to college in January and I’ve been so excited and scared as I have learning disabilities and school hase never been easy for me. But what do I have to lose I work at a night shift job throwing boxes for the last year. And I hate it I dread it everyday I would rather try and fail then do nothing. And Ik I’m 20 and young but change sucks and it’s hard but if I work hard and do the right thing the chips will fall into place. And thanks for your videos.

Great video, I was stuck in the cycle of working a job I hate with no free time. I was making all the money I could ever want, but after while the money wasn’t worth it because I was miserable. Also I saw you in Fortunates stream yesterday it was cool to see you there in chat!

Idk I think its hopeless, I have no business idea or a big family that can provide opportunities or guidance or even an example to follow, its really just me and my mum and she doesnt own a home herself. Im turning 22 in 2 months and I honestly dont see a way out what so ever. The idea of working a job 9 to 5 for pennies in a job I hate depresses me and for people that say they enjoy their 9 to 5 good for you I certainly never will. I went to uni for computer science thinking that was gonna be a good place to direct my attention but its just oversaturated and I dont even enjoy it or want to do that. When I was a kid I really thought everything would work out somehow and I would be okay and happy, I see how wrong I was and now I have to swallow the reality of being a modern day slave. I should add if you feel the same as me but you have a big family and friends from my pov it seems that eases the misery, be grateful for it you have no idea how lucky you are I wish I had siblings and uncles and cousins in my life, when my mum goes im all alone so be thankful for it.

It is going to be different for different people. I don't believing in being passionate to discover our true life goal because that may always keep changing, and when your passion changes will you put yourself in the same mind numbing rut that you found yourself in the first time. So, for myself and others I believe in discipline and consistency, that will enable you to find your true passion and goals in life. Remember you maybe be passionate about something at the beginning but may die down quick. On the other hand consistency and discipline will reveal to you things about your goals that you previously never knew about which can lead to passion. ❤

You see I took action 4 yrs ago and now I don’t know if I like it. I went to school to become a barber but now I work more hours. Dealing with dumb customers and now not having no weekends off because they are my busiest days.
On top of that I was working at a barber shop building it’s name and clientele just for the owner to come out last minute that he hadn’t been paying the rent. And had a day to get all our stuff out. Sucks because it was just starting to get busy! The bad thing was I depended to much on walkins and now that I don’t work there no more I’m cutting out my garage and it’s been slow.
Of course tho everybody’s different. I know a kid that he started cutting hair about 4 months ago and he’s doing great.. 😅🙃

Dealing with debt and worse yet struggling in school the way I got that debt. Sure I’m just extending my uni years just a bit but it can feel tiresome taking longer than others

I would say youtube was really gaining popularity in the youtube community in 2009. Lots of legendary commentators were born, things like FaZe were starting as well. TH-cam was for sure in our lives back then

Completely unrelated, but im from the UK what apps or software do you use to invest in companies or stocks cause i kinda wanna expand my portfolio and obviously try and somewhat get my finances in check in my 20s
I'm from America, so not very familiar with UK investing apps. I use charles schwab, e-trade, vanguard, Empower, Ally. Not sure if they are available in UK or not, but I'm sure they have similar companies.

I quit my job because i didn't have much passion for it and I wanted to travel with my girlfriend. TH-cam is part of the equation, but is not all of it. If I became a full time youtuber out of this, i'd be pretty happy
