As a solo trick-taker fan, I'm looking forward to this so much! I've been a Tolkien fan since 1969, and a Taylor fan for about three years :-)

I think Agency has may trump because 1) as you remove walls from the hand, and gain more cards, you could be making it harder to play those trump cards and 2) it allows you to use the Trump cards early before your opponent can remove walls and reach for them

Great development diary content, absolutely love it. As difficult as it was to stay spoiler-free, thank you :) Limitations / constraints help creativity - for sure. It seems counterintuitive but it's amazing how that works. It was so cool to hear about the development of using the backside of cards for both the characters and the chapter cards. Those are genius ways to bring in narrative (chapter cards) and balance (for 3 vs 4 players) - simply genius! And how making the solo version helped inform the game in general for higher player counts. So cool!

Hi Taylor! Thanks for the great video! One question: do you use the Solo-Running rules by Tom Scutt in this tutorial? Because if you are I have to ask if I understood something wrong - Tom writes in the rules "You may also/instead spend a token to change the order of Dewy, Huey and Louie around the table (they take their hand of cards with them)." but you use a token to change Dewy`s hand of cards. Am I missing something crucial? I feel changing the order of the Bots is a lot trickier than swapping Dewy's hand. Thanks a lot!

The game looks pretty good and more thematic than the crew. Am very disappointed to see plastic wrap on the cards though; we're coming into 2025, let's move onto paper wrap please.

Whoa, not putting critical info in the upper left of cards in “Odds & Evens” is game-design malpractice. How could they play-test and not see that as a problem? Makes me think there was a last-minute graphic design change that got hastily approved without play-testing.
