Also really wondering how any of this can be balanced? I really like the roles but even in the base game I think the fun might overshadow the feeling that none of this can possibly be balanced
Can't speak to the new characters, but the original game is balanced in the sense that each character can all score around the same amount of points in a round. Having said that, the big thing is drafting the correct character for your hand. Some characters want you to lose most tricks to score highly, others you have the strongest cards in the game but have to find ways to lose some of the tricks. Looking at your hand and determining which character matches best is key.
Yeah they're definitely unbalanced, but i think the drafting helps a bit, and what the antgoo said makes total sense too!
is this coming to Kickstarter?
The last one did. But I pre-ordered directly from Portland Game Collective’s website months after the campaign ended (US shipping for me).
PGC said they are working on it now and it should come out via KS by the end of the year/early next year.
