It seems counterintuitive but it's amazing how that works. It was so cool to hear about the development of using the backside of cards for both the characters and the chapter cards. Those are genius ways to bring in narrative (chapter cards) and balance (for 3 vs 4 players) - simply genius! And how making the solo version helped inform the game in general for higher player counts. So cool!

The Crew is my favorite game from the past few years (and it's how I found your channel in the first place), and I've been waiting to see what the next evolutionary step in this mini-genre would look like. So incredibly excited that YOU are the one who gets to usher us into this next phase. Not unlike Love Letter or Fluxx, this story-based trick-taking seems adaptable to any number of IPs. Surely they are already in talks with other story universes.
