“a la Scout”, while not wrong, hurt my heart. Bohnanza, my friend!

Thanks for the honest reviews, Taylor. The different levels of game feel, tactics and choices are bound to happen with the relatively narrow market of the 2-pl trick taking game. We should support them so they can keep brainstorming and producing new 2-pl games…

Really interesting games, thanks for the great overviews. Hipparchus has a genius system, elegant really - but does seem like less decision space. Thanks!

I still wish Ptolemy was great game instead of a good game. I just really love the look and colors of it, but I've got to keep a small collection

That "music score" in Phantom bugs me. Did they just go "we need something that looks vaguely like actual sheet music" but didn't actually validate it? Bars 1 and 3 are in 4/4, bar 2 is in 5/8 and bar 4 is in 8/4. What?! The tune is also... not good. I get they wanted the note stems pointing in certain directions, but if you include a musical score in a game, PLEASE make it actually musical sense.
    Game looks fun though!
