I bought the swampfox wolverine combat cut slide with XS suppressor height sights included for $400 when they first came out. I added a threaded barrel for 200, and a L2D enhanced firing pin for 80, sst channel liner, maritime spring cups, and a slightly reduced power firing pin spring, and I was still at less than 800 total. With the original barrel it came with I would've been at 600 for the slide, but 1100 is diabolical work 🤣🤣😂 You could get a plain slide milled out to your own unique design for that price!!!

Get Shadow Systems Better Gun .

i used to love Zev but no man there is no slide that worth more than a full size gun, in 2025 i think Canik and PSA are gonna take a chunk share of the market

Penetration performance matters a lot for home defense depending on how your house is built or how close you are to your neighbors, dont run the high penetration less expanding stuff if youre too close to the neighbors.

Not many companies are doing "island comp" barrel kits, let alone slides. So they are able to mark up the price until more companies decide to make the same at a cheaper price. Give it a few years and this will change. I hope 😂

Normal slide 400, parts kit 150, barrel 200, recoil spring 80, so normal complete slide kit 8 to 900, so hypercomp is only 300 more for the completed slide. That is really not bad when you break it all down

Agree with you, I have a hyper comp would love to get another slide and barrel but at that price I rather get an arc division slide and barrel kit lol. PSA is the only one I think that's paying attention to the community right now.

I take a review only as their experience with a product and their opinion and MOST have bias before they even get the product. I don’t trust any that shell for SDI (an online gunsmithing school) Colin Noir loves everything he’s paid to like and and when he’s not capping he’s selling My favs are Humble Marksmen, Nightwood Guns and a few others. As far as criticizing a person’s review I look at how well you shoot (technique and markmanship), your knowledge of firearms and your experience as a gun enthusiast/competiter/LE or military Good or bad we all need to start somewhere and strive to get better. They goes for being a shooter, reviewer, youtuber, etc.
