How difficult is this species to keep? It seems to be very challenging to keep them alive for an extended period. What’s your opinion please?

A few oddities in every proper fish room! I’ve got a one eyed Tetra and a loach with only half a tail. At first glance it’s not even noticeable 😉

Just started watching and loving the videos so far I did wood turning in the past and I would be careful with that piece that was already turned as if it has polish and wax on they could leech into your water or plecos could eat them and they are likely toxic

A possible solution would be a simple timber frame with polycarbonate twinwall/multiwall to add a secondary internal glazing in side the window frames, should make quite a difference 🤞 However they would need to be removed to allow you to enjoy the view, but likely a must come winter! A less thermally efficient option would be clear Polycarbonate sheet on a frame but would still create a cavity between the glass and poly trapping air, would reduce condensation on the single glazing, good luck! 👍
