After this I'd probably recommend garden hose over flexihose and the rigid aquaponics stuff I used - out of everything it's easiest to drill into and the material holds the valves in very nicely 😁 it's easier than messing with and cutting pvc that's for sure.
A possible solution would be a simple timber frame with polycarbonate twinwall/multiwall to add a secondary internal glazing in side the window frames, should make quite a difference 🤞 However they would need to be removed to allow you to enjoy the view, but likely a must come winter! A less thermally efficient option would be clear Polycarbonate sheet on a frame but would still create a cavity between the glass and poly trapping air, would reduce condensation on the single glazing, good luck! 👍
There's this clear plastic stuff apparently everyone used before double glazing was a thing that looks fiddly but sort of effective? I feel like polycarb would be easiest though as I already have tonnes of that! It's soooo nice having a beam of sunshine in the middle of the day ☀️ but we're up to 31°C in there now so the bones of the place are warming up 😊
Looking amazing Lou!!
I would have never thought to use garden hose for the air system. FREAKING BRILLIANT!!!! Keep doing smart things I love it.
