Hi Lou! I was one of the first people to keep Apistogrammoides in the UK back in 1979, after arranging an import through the BCA. The specific epithet is pronounced pu-kai-pa-ensis, after Pucallpa near to where they were first collected. The Americans call them the T-bar dwarf cichlid. Delightful little cichlids. Wouldn't mind keeping them again, as I haven't seen them in the shops for years. Thanks for the video.
How exciting, thank you so much for commenting! Weird because there's Sajica T-Bars in the tank above so got both types even though they're so very different. I checked afterwards with my other half who's a Spanish speaker and he said something like that, that's awesome now knowing exactly how they say it.
Wow what a great bunch of fish you got in this one Lou. If I was you I would want to keep all of them haha. Considering getting some of the Robocops when they have been through QT.
Nice vid, it’s nice to see a few different species than the standard. I’ve got a Pinocchio whip but I can’t seem to source anymore or find any decent info on them.. I’ll keep an eye on your website
I go through Aquallan who goes via Independent Aquatics Imports ltd who I believe are the suppliers for most of the shops across the UK 😊 some people go direct but it's very easy to get scammed
I always love your videos thanks for the time and effort you put into making them and sharing with us
Another great video Lou 😊 Lovjng the zebra ottos 😍 and pretty much all of the others! Those corys are huge and stunning👍

Video and audio are good.
Excellent, did my best on the sound balance. At least this one hasn't been dropped in a puddle 🤣
Great pick-ups! Just found your channel, sub # 878 checking in.👍
Unfortunately TH-cam doesnt seem to be able to stream above 480p lately, either way great video!! I subbed.
Sometimes happens for me too and I feel like I haven't got my glasses on! Welcome 🤗
@@inthebagtropicalfishuklolol I hadn't thought of it that way before.
super 👍
I think the audio was better in the beginning and it's not coming up in 60 FPS but either way nice video
How You get from there!! How I could send some fishes from Bolivia?? Like Bolivian Rams or Satanoperca Jurupari??
In the UK you have to have a license and go through proper exporters 😊 it's all done very carefully to avoid overfishing, helps research etc
Can I ask who your exporter from Peru was?
