I think you should *definitely* include the bomb pots because they are giant ripe watermelons of EV at which supposedly "for-profit" players turn up their noses, because how dare you nerf their preflop hand selection advantage. This completely ignoring the fact that you're playing a bloated pot with stacks easily in play against a bunch of people who have no *concept* of how ranges shift when nine random hands see the flop. So it's mostly a matter of waiting until you make the nuts (or massive equity on both boards in double board bomb pots) and then piling chips in. I don't think I would want to play an all-bomb-pot game because it would be mind numbingly boring while you waited your turn for the dealer to pick you. But it would be probably be absurdly profitable, and if all I cared about was EV, and not about how I was spending my valuable few remaining trips around the sun, I would definitely do that.

If I thought people actually learned from this stuff, I would be sending a box with a dead skunk in it to the Goone household. Fortunately, nobody will take this stuff seriously so I will still win all the doll hairs. I think BradO and BartH are right that 20 BB/hr is really hard in $5/5 but (a) if anybody can do it, the kid with the pony tail and weird tats can, and (b) suppose it's "only" 16 BB/hr?

Hungry horse made me think, always 3-bet linear (or fold) vs fish (hungry says the good, better and best) - I wonder what's the bottom of that 3-bet range vs a fish if playing just 100BB deep effective. Like, something like all suited broadway except JT,QT ,99,+AJo+,A9s+? Problem is we're playing for stacks all the time by the river since fish open for 4BB plus, any 3-bet is 12BB already, small c bet is 8BB (33% pot) and so when called we're looking at 31.5BB pot on the turn (3 spr or so).

Could we have got more value from the hand at 39:27 by either sizing up flop cbet to 1/4 ish or by blocking either turn or river? -- I know you are familiar with the player and I don't want to be results oriented, but I wonder what your thoughts are after playing this hand

We don't have 5,5 in AC but we have 2,5 and back when I was playing those stakes with a 1k cap buy in , it was common to make $500+ in a 5 hour session. Alot of times I would say $600-$800 is very common as I've gone back through my logs and especially the first 6 months of the year 3-4 years in a row I was showing profits of 20k+ over 150-170 hours during each of those 6 month time periods
