Hey Timothy, thanks for watching. We occasionally have a young lion that will wander through Iowa, but it is incredibly rare. In this area of Utah, it was very clear that the lion population was thriving and very sustainable. I definitely respect your opinion. For me, it was more of filling a bucket list hunt with the guy who got me started in hunting. Not very long ago I was a little kid getting drug around by a dog chasing a coon up the tree. We were able to enjoy our time together and ultimately, that's what it's all about. I hope you had a great season and thanks for the support! Hoping to bring you more deer content when the bucks start to shed :)

The Garmin trackers give us a really good idea of where they are. After we located them, we got as close to them as possible and called to them. They are very well disciplined and usually come when called to. The sun was something I wasn’t prepared for. Thankfully I was able to cast enough of a shadow with my hat to complete my shot process. And that’s the guide! He scaled the 60’ tree to get the cat out. Pretty impressive

I’ve been wearing the Nivor suit for any hunt below 25°. I’ve been loving it!

@ethan_stubbs thanks. I have the ballistic set. Great stuff but a little light for the late season. How does the Nivor compare to Code of Silence set? Merry Christmas

They are both going to be incredibly warm. Personally, I like the sleekness of the TUO gear. Being a bowhunter, being able to draw my bow without the extra bulk of a ton of insulation in the sleeves is huge for me. That is one key difference I've noticed.

In Iowa, you can buy 2 any sex tags. 1 for bow, and 1 for gun hunting. As a resident, you can also party hunt during gun 1 or gun 2 and tag a buck then as well.

@ oh that’s really really interesting I thought maybe needed to choose one of either shotgun season as a nonresident I Drew second shotgun in 2013 hunted Tylor county Bedford

Nice. Up until this year, non residents could party hunt during the gun seasons. They changed that rule this year.
