There're little openings... Nonetheless, what's more important to a snail is moisture. They don't need that much ventilation, as long as it's not completely airtight, they'll do perfectly well. We've practiced soilless snail farming for over 4 years, and it's an impressive system for snails

Can I use egg shell for adults too?

You can, although, it's better with oyster or clam shell calcium supplements for adult snails. But if you can't have access to those you can use eggshell at the time

Get the eggshells, wash properly, dry them under sun and grind to powder and use

They'll be very active in their first year of laying, and also active second year but slightly declining, and laying start to decline rapidly from from ending of second year ad above.... So, let's say they are active laying at the first 18 to 20 months of laying and starts to decline as they grow

Touching your snail eggs doesn't stop them from hatching, the issue is, it will reduce hatchability a bit when you hold the eggs for a longer time. But touching them won't be an issue. As a matter of fact, we don't use spoon in your farms and our hatchability is very high. So, it's all about experience

Snails does not need soil to lay eggs: they need right nutrients and moisture. Once this is in place, they'll lay well. So they do lay eggs very well without soil; just to know what to do

You're right sir... The only challenge is that it's an organic product and thus the raw materials are expensive so we are able to peg the price at 2000 per bottle now. So, every other person except farmers would find it useful for use, because they understand it's importance. Nonetheless, we have quite a number households who buys it in their houses after they discovered that it's safe for home use and is not a threat to their kids.
