Thanks for sharing this video. I'm going to buy the plastic drum this morning. The fact is that i have not really succeeded in incubating my snail eggs perfectly and have hundreds of unhatched eggs since I started snails farming in September last year.
If i got it right, my snails would have reached 3000 pcs from initial 1000pcs. Unfortunately i now have less than 800pcs of AM.
I'm hoping to get it right soon.

please how you are using your hands to touch the eggs is it good to do that?
Touching your snail eggs doesn't stop them from hatching, the issue is, it will reduce hatchability a bit when you hold the eggs for a longer time. But touching them won't be an issue.
As a matter of fact, we don't use spoon in your farms and our hatchability is very high. So, it's all about experience
Pls enlighten, I thought snails eggs aren't supposed to be touched with bare hands
It's not completely true sir.... We advise farmer not to touch only if you're a newbie and you do not understand the laws surrounding snail eggs hatching. But with experience you can touch and your eggs will still hatch.
Like here in Bonniehood Snail Farm, because we understand what we do, we used our hands for our eggs for all these years and we still get impressive results.
So, it depends.

What can farmer do after 21day andt eggs does not incubate .
Leave them and monitor for more days... meanwhile, after 5 days from the 21 days you can search the soil for baby snails that may have hatched and couldn't come up to the surface

The drum is lying down. Not standing. And there's a perforation at the side facing down to allow any water inside to flow out
