  • Snail farming is advancing by the day and our "Bonniehood Intensive Model" (BIM) being a Soilless and leafless snail farming system is pioneering a new wave of result making farming techniques, that are easy and less stressful to manage compared to other intensive snail farming systems.
    Yes, we all have been involved in the stress of soil and plantain leafs soughting some years ago, but we got fed up with that stress and towed a different direction; that was where we noticed the soilless and plantain leafless snail farming techniques that are highly useful and less stressful to practice.
    In this video, I am unveiling what I used as the substitute for the plantain leafs. And fortunate enough, they are just perfect for snail farming. Find out what it is, and get more information on this video. Subscribe to this channel.

      Yes sir.... I appreciate your prompt reminder. It's part of a plan, and we'd started writing it long before now but it's been a very tight schedule for me right. I know this ebook would be very important to the general snail farming industry, and we hold that thought dire. If you can reach me on WhatsApp I'll keep your details and personally inform you when we start writing it and when we finish. I appreciate your patience and kind thoughts towards Bonniehood Snail Farm

      @@BonniehoodFarms what is the white thing in the snails you are holding pls?

    • @BonniehoodFarms
      @BonniehoodFarms  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a Calcium supplement; the snails love it and it keeps the snails healthy. It helps the snails to retain their colour and renew damaged shells.
      The calcium supplement supports the snail's life and also help snails in growth and egg laying.
      It's a compulsory material for every snail farm.

    Very revealing😃👌💥
    Thanks for enlightening me more about the breeze issue Sir.
    Is it necessary to still cover my snails up with the sacs after spreading some already, to curtail excess breeze?

    • @BonniehoodFarms
      @BonniehoodFarms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, very necessary, especially when you want to do away with plantain leafs permanently. So the snail's can find a hiding place to keep cool and grow effectively

    How can the snail survive without getting a feel of the sand cus I noticed at times snails feed on the sand too for some good reason, won’t this affect the snail feel for natural habitat?

    • @BonniehoodFarms
      @BonniehoodFarms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No sir, it won't have effect on the snails...
      Now, snail farming is about making a suitable environment, making provision for what is lacking compared to what the snails are used to in the wild.
      Soil provides the snail with moisture and calcium, and in our model we have made provision for unlimited calcium and moisture through management.

      You mean the Clam and oyster shells? Many also cals them water snail shell in Bayelsa, Nigeria.
      They serve as sources of calcium supplements for the snails. It's helps the snails to grow and form properly, helps them to renew their shells, boosts their appetites and immunity. And also helps adult snails to lay eggs more effectively

    Scared of this method, won’t the snails eat the sack ?

    • @BonniehoodFarms
      @BonniehoodFarms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Snails can't eat sack... It's not an experimental procedure, we've used it and has setup for farmers over 2 years now. So, it's not something we are just trying, it's something we are already using for years.
      It solves a lot of the regular snail farming challenges.
