Generally times of watering depends on the kind of housing you have. Some of our soilless snail housing we water once and others twice. So, it depends. If your housing has the ability to maintain moisture for a long time you'll need to do less water sprinkling
Yes it can, with guidance.... A lot of farmers using trench pens, hutch boxes and other intensive systems of farming snails are now considering the Soilless farming. We've converted quite a number of farms, we are always open for such.
I have experience some mortality with my snails and i noticed they now eat less than they use to eat before, and I use the bucket 🪣 system because I don’t have enough cash yet to do that wooden system, pls what is the cause of them now eating less?
Did you had any sort it training before you set up your drum System? There're actually some technicalities that needs to be understood before venturing into the Soilless drum system of farming snails.
@@BonniehoodFarms I have been watching various TH-cam videos on how to care for snails even as a business but not formally taken a course on it. I do use soil for The bucket 🪣 system I do though and I use mosquito net to tie the top to allow air and prevent insects.
