Wow, great to hear you love the idea of soilless snail farming. Indeed, it's a fantastic system and we've been on soilless snail farming for several years. It's a lovely concept
Thanks for giving me a response sir.I am grateful. I live in the Tropical climate, we have a hot period which is from Late February to early June.and rain from June to November each year.but cold weather in December to Late January
Yes, very possible... I trained a farm manager how to create feed formulas by himself. After teaching him he also begged I do a feed formula with dried potatoes or it's peels so I did one for him. And it was an amazing formula. So, yes
Thank you for your kind comments... Meanwhile, if you're very new to snail farming I'll recommend that you get our ebook, it'll help you to start out Reach us on WhatsApp 09056786981
Please sir, you're not using loamy soil, how did you do it,and do your eggs harsh without loamy soil, because almost all the videos I have watched they talked about loamy soil, but what you're doing here totally amazing
We have created several systems of snail farming that doesn't use soil in farming them.... As for the egg incubation, we also incubate without soil sometimes and other times with soil. But the raising of the snails is TOTALLY SOILLESS. And it's very effective systems. We would be doing our training very soon. For more enquiries contact Bonniehood Snail Farm 09056786981
Well done, what a success in snail farming .kudos. It seems you have the secrets - rearing snails without soil. This is the first time I am coming across such,
We prepare all our formulated feeds by ourselves by using our own formula. We also prepare our calcium supplements by ourselves. Everything we use for snail farming are prepared by us.
Waoooo... I have a lot of yam peels and yams in the farm but some snail farmers claim giving yam to snails will make them bloat. So which one do we believe now?
Snails eat yams, like I said, you feed it with understanding. Snail farming does not have universal laws in all things; so many things in snail farming are discovered by young farmers who did experiments and got their results. It's true that yams, cassava, sweet potatoes all has good level of starve and with different levels, notwithstanding, snails still eat all of them, but not consistently, except sweet potatoes that are more easier to serve and more friendly. Now, let me say, if you're going to serve your snails yam, to avoid bloating, this is what you do: 1.) Cut the yams into pieces 2.) Wash properly in a good water 3.) Soak them in the water for like 30 minutes. This helps to expel some starch and then rinse again 4.) And then serve to the snails NOTE: If serve yam make sure you either serve it along side with plantain peels or leafs/vegetables that are rich in fiber. Fibre takes care of bloating and aids good digestion both in snails and in humans. And don't serve it always, that can constitute a problem. When you serve skip like 3 days before you serve again, and your snails would be perfectly fine. And lastly, about your question of who to believe: "YOU BELIEVE WHO YOU THINK YOU CAN TRUST".... It's no long story, you have yam, you can simply try it..
Am interested in this soiless snail farming. What does it require? Moreover i have little ones that am rearing in a broken basin. They lay tiny eggs, what is responsible? and i don't know how to hatch the eggs. How can i do that?
You can enroll in the soilless snail farming video training through the link selar.co/210142 There are different breed of snails, what you have could be the Achatina Fulica, the snail with a pointed tip, and lays plenty tiny eggs. It doesn't grow big and does not have good market value. Meanwhile, I have made two different videos on snail egg Incubation. For more details whatsApp 0905 678 6981
I am living in a Caribbean island where snails are not eaten but it is not grown at all.but I am interested in such farming, what is your advice do you have for me? eg..such I still go into this business since there is no market for it on island. Or is there any way you believe you can connect/link me to in order for me to be able to sell in case I continue with my desire to get into this business?
Great to hear from you ma... Well, snail farming is a good business but its success relies on very important factors, first environmental factors and others. So, it's wise to know what the average temperature is like, than I can give a better advise. Meanwhile, snails can be sold internationally, as the international market is massive. SO, YOU CAN FARM THE SNAIL AND SELL TO THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET WHILE YOU CREATE THE AWARENESS IN YOUR LOCATION. You'll have so much advantages if you start before loads of people think about the business in your area, as you'll be ahead and the massive markets will start from your hands.
As long as you have a shade over it or if you can make a shade over the spot to be used we'll always find a way to setup our soilless snail farming models for you sir.... You can reach us on WhatsApp on 09056786981
You can, although, it's better with oyster or clam shell calcium supplements for adult snails. But if you can't have access to those you can use eggshell at the time
@@BonniehoodFarms thank you so much sir , please where do you base.will I blend the egg shell? Cos am chatting from Oyo state.and have not heard of calm shell or oyster shell before
Ventilation is not an important factor in snail farming success, rather, what is important is moisture. As long as your pen is not 100% airtight snails will do well if you have good moisture in it.
You really waste time in talking, try to talk straight to the point, if you continue like this people will not like to listen to you and remember you have competitors
We would take time to do a video about formulated feed making.... And about incoherency, we are still gradually improving by learning. Thank you for feed back sir
