32:00 You actually don't need a super accurate distance for a torpedo solution! I think it's mainly useful if you want to know if you're in range and of course if you want to have a time estimation for the impact. As long as the enemy ship's and the torpedo's speed stays constant, the torpedo lead angle won't change if the ship is 500m, 1000m or 2000m away! Think about scaling up or down a triangle without changing the angles or aspect ratios. Because this is basically what you are doing when you enter the target's distance into the TDC. :)

Just an idea in case you do another of these series for 2025 or anything, it might be worth considering the devs balancing the game. I'm following this in November 2024 and my research times are a lot more than yours. I'll manage but if might be worth considering when explaining things in case people struggle.

This game is on heavy discount thought i pick it up yet watch the parts 1 and 2... this game looks to0 complex for me to get my head around.

The game was updated literally a few days after I finally finished watching all tutorials and started playing for myself. The base game was significantly changed in a way that was pretty confusing for a complete beginner (added special projects mechanic, changed tech trees, changed germany focus tree, etc.). After bit of fiddling, I found it is the best to just roll back the game to the previous version, that is in line with the tutorials. Might be helpful for someone who is just starting, after the latest updates.

i will say I've watched Ton ^ ² of tutorials in my life. But never i have been to understand a game in such depth in such small amount of time. Its a literal Masterclass of the game basics. Very well structured and tough full. Now the homework for tonight its to practice what you teach me, looking forward for my PHD.

Is there a way to know which focus options are based on real history, other than actually knowing the history in detail? I feel like a lot of these paths are made up, but some are real.

I wonder could you make a similar one to this but with all the dlc´s to explain what to do and not to do perhaps? I find some dlc´s rather overwhelming indeed. Imagine getting to this point into the tutorial and I take Poland on 8/25. I justify war with Lithuania for 35 days. I follow the rest of the tutorial and move divisions as needed, and the second I'm ready to take Lithuania - I see the Soviets have taken it. I reload a save and do the whole process over again - Soviets take it every time on 9/03. I reload to the start of Poland invasion, try justifying war with Lithuania, but it will take 185 days. Got no idea what to do...

OMG, I miss the times games weren't made for little pussies. You can't even say "Hitler" in a bloody video about a ww2 game without fear of being cancelled. FML.

I dont think i understand why bigfer width is bad. Sure, enemy can attack me with 2 divisions against my single wide division. So what? My one division is equvalent in troops and equipment to 2-3 of theirs, so it should be able to hold on its own, right?

Are you going to repeat the tutorial for 2025 after the new version?

Frankly, I find it very admirable that you spent so much time and effort making this awesome tutorial for a game that very few people play in 2024. Personally, I much prefer watching your videos on this game than actually playing it 🤣. Sad but true. I find it to be very tedious, boring, and honestly not that fun or satisfying from a graphical standpoint. I much prefer a game like Steel Division 2 over this style of game.

What makes no sense when it comes to occupied territories to me is why have divisions like your MP guard with Calvary if they are garrisoned. What do they need horses for?

I think you should have changed the trading to no exports before you started training the surface ships. So you would have more oil/fuel for it. Love your tutorial by the way!

Could you do one with all the DLC enabled? I don't want to play with them turned off.

Been watching your series and just wanted to say man with your intellect and your soothing voice I hope you are doing more with your talents than just making TH-cam gaming videos.
