Thank you to EVERYONE who wrote in offering to help with the savegames. Apologies for the slow responses, i've had that wretched cold and its taking its time to shift - the last thing I've felt like doing is using the computer for the last couple weeks. However, I received several very helpful replies, and some of you had helpfully attached me the save games. I'm going to go through them in the coming 1-2 days before making the final choice. I will then make them available to everyone the one who closest matched. Thanks to you who stepped up!
Please update us when you get to uploading those saves 🙏🏼 Was really enjoying the series until I got stuck on part 7 because my Spanish civil war happened months after yours
@@tylermacey5410 Same thing happened to me. Ran through September 1936 with no Spanish Civil War. I tried rolling back to previous saves and same thing happened. My plan is to take what I learned from the first 6 episodes and see what i can do to build up the economy and war machine and see if I can loosely follow the rest of the tutorial.
Hope you're doing ok. I've been following along for my first play through playing on regular and you've helped so much, I know it's been a while but do you think you're going to continue the series?
Well, I've absolutely binged the **** out of this series over the last week - quite impressed that I managed to get to roughly the same point in time without messing up too badly! It's been an awesome way to delve into the game and get a feel for how it works. Hopefully there's another episode to cover the invasion of Britain. Thanks for helping to flatten out the learning curve
Been Binge-watching this series for the last week or so. Got 30+ extra hours into the game, and I finally understand how to play it! All thanks to you. I'm really grateful that you did such and in-depth "analysis" of the game. Not shying away from explaining what means what and just being really helpful. This is I think the only tutorial that goes as far as this for this game. With other (indeed shorter) tutorials I always get the feeling that I'm already supposed to have a basic knowledge of the game. This is one of the few that really takes it to beginner level and I'm really grateful for that. Thank you again for spending so much time into this and keep up the good work!
@@benverhaegen9006 The problem is that my game went quite different from his. Apart from a being a bit ahead in time (not rlly a problem), the invasion of france didn't go as wel. you dont need to build them everywhere and you'll run out of build capacity in harder play modes. As the game progresses (and you have LOTS of supply) - You ideally need 1 mainline from the capital to the water with a big harbour, and then across the land towards the direction of lots of units (so for Germany, a big fat rail connection towards russia is helpful). Remember you can press the supply view (F4) and check the colours, and if things are blue, dont bother upgrading. If things are red, hover over supply hub with mouse - and find out if its a bottleneck (if yes - upgrade rail) otherwise it might be supply hub range etc.

Does it matter about rails when making them. For example I just build them all over in every zone if i have nothing else building.
you dont need to build them everywhere and you'll run out of build capacity in harder play modes.
@@gameswithbrains gotcha thank you and that’s good to know for the limited use I appreciate it!
You’re driving me mad ignoring the over 300 medium tanks you’re not doing anything about..
