Hello from JNCB’s
@@jamesthomas9415 Hey James, Hope you have a merry Christmas
What a great chance to see how the bees use that log! I hope you are all doing well, it's been a while since you've posted. Wishing you all the best and thanks for sharing this colony find.
@@FrederickDunn Hey Fred, With the Hurricane plus some surgery has really set me back. I’m hoping this will be a better year for us. This cutout was really amazing, they have done good this year after we cut them out. I will send you a private message this week. Hope you’re enjoying that snow ❄️, looks like your grandson is having a blast in the snow.
Thanks Ricky!!! Catching the replay!
@@rodneymiddleton9624 thanks for watching Rondey!!

Catching the replay! I had a cutout in Columbia, SC about 20 minutes from Bob's house. LOL! I said to myself if they were from Bob's bees. Thanks!
I luv Dr Leo`s honey flavored koolaid, Jonathan!
We must have a flow because the bees didn't even touch the cutout comb from today. Thanks!
Catching the replay! Thanks Ricky!
Team replay 😎🐝☀️ Happy belated birthday to Lisa and Keith! 🥳 🎂 🎉
I missed the live, had a board meeting. Thanks for the conversation!
Catching the replay! I had a European hornet nest in one of my swarm traps.
I’ve seen a video of a lady removing a been colony out of a wooden toy chest; bees can live in all sorts of conditions. Thank you for the perspective and creativity. I’m making a horizontal beehive out of an old cedar trunk. Wish me luck.
@@Heyitsdash A old cedar trunk would work very nicely, well done thinking 🤔 outside the box.
Catching the replay! I have electric fences around my out yards because of bears. Thanks Ricky!
I built some horizontal hives with flow hive frames. I have a queen excluder in between flow frames and brood flames. I can’t seem to get the bees to put honey in the flow frames. Any suggestions?
@@darrylhastings3378 Hey Darry, It takes a strong colonial to get them to use the flow frames. Only allow your brood nest to be about 12 to 15 frames and use a solid divider to keep them from accessing the extra space this will force them through the queen excluder into the flow frames. Remember it take a strong honey flow and the best time to achieve using the flow frames is early Spring. I usually don’t use the flow frames after Spring and just allow them to fill the rest of the hive with comb and honey for Winter ❄️. Just remember if you try the flow in the fall aster flower honey will crystallize in your flow frames and can make them worthless.

It rained here all day! Bob got a lot more rain than I did. Thanks Rickey!
@@rodneymiddleton9624 glad to hear your hives were not under water Rodney!!
Missed the chat how do you winterize the horizontal hives in the winter
@@jamesowens2781 Hey James we never got to that information tonight. For my area about 15-18 frames of honey and brood is the best. I usually move the brood nest to the side of the hive where the sunsets. This allows the late sun in the winter ❄️ to warm the hive. I move all the honey to the entrance. This creates a wind break and will allow the bees to move towards the entrance for Spring. Most important part is to make sure there is enough insulation above your brood nest. Hope this information helps.
Great Live tonight, thanks much everyone. Blessed Days...
Thanks DC!!
Awesome they are growing!
Awesome idea Rickey. Thanks for sharing 🇦🇺👍🐝🍯
@@TrickyTrev01 hey Trev!! I have gotten all your email. Thanks for sending them.. just haven’t had time to respond.

Way to go Tom & Melissa! That was great...Those B's are the greatest, the best! The likes of which has never been seen! Thanks for the shoutout and for thinking of me for your video!
Haha I tell you those are the best B’s you’ll ever have. Very calm and friendly!
Hi Rickey. Are you still making hives for sale? Some members of our beekeeping group has emailed you several times over the past few months and filled out the contact form on your website and has not received a response. We've recommended you to several people so we are wanting to know.
@@familymatters6945 Hey Familymatters just let me say thank so much for sending people our way!!! We have run into a few problems/ set backs in the last few months due to my health plus the addition of a new building. The demand was extremely high with orders in the Spring and we felt like we could meet the demand with our product. Unfortunately this hasn’t been the case and we continue to struggle to get the hives out to customers on time. Due to this problem we have stopped taking any new orders until November. Please 🙏 let your people know we are trying to give a good product on time and the on time is what we are struggling with. I can personally reach out to them if they can wait until November? Hopefully 🤞 our growing pains will get better next year!!!!
Thank you! I’m asking my Dad to build one for me and this will really help sense he has zero to do with bees 😅. Looking forward to learning so I can one day too. Blessings!
It sounds like you had an Amazing and Exciting Trip. The Lord was Watching over you all, Good to have ya Home Rickey and Family. Blessed Days...
Great chat! Enjoyed listening
Yessir. Mulch can get extremely hot especially in piles it traps moisture and heat. As well as hay bales. Never stick your hands in either of those. Come out with third degree burns
Very informative video! What is your way of making the dado steps? Hand held Router? Router table? Table saw with dado blade? Would be cool if you made a video demonstrating how you go about doing it. Again, thanks & I subscribed.
Wasn't able to catch the Livestream, but watched the replay this morning. Great chat though 👍🐝😁💜🌼🍯 safe travels to Missouri, hope all goes well with your presentation.
Our bees are all over our clover. Plenty of bean blooms and I haven’t seen one bee on them; except bumblebees.
Dang! I looked for your stream at 8pm and didn't find you! 😢
صباح الخير أصدقائي 🌹💜🌹
😁Thanks Rickey and everyone that was here, it was a great spending the evening with you all. Blessed Days...
