The M6 is a machete where as the 500xl is a scalpe. Depends on your preference of brutality

Had the Full Shred in one of my Charvels, and it really woke up with a few mods!! I changed it to a ceramic magnet, and added fillister screws (flat head) in place of the allen screws.

Amazing playing. Great demo. I have a Schecter Blackjack SLS loaded with a Full Shred and a Sustainiac. Amazing combo. Nice and present tone and great note definition and clarity and sounds amazing with a boosted high gain amp.

what tuning did you use?

You get the crunchy/gritty single notes with the Lundgren… it cuts. The blades are a little smoother, but cut through cleanly instead. This is truly two different things, not a “who wins” contest. Nice to know, because I thought it was my playing that caused me to lose the bite of single note lines, and it may just be my B&B’s as I went with non ceramic in my LP. Oh- I the interlude-ish riff in there was inspirational, as I’m writing about a professor who wishes he was a Tolkien dwarf, and I wrote the song around Faxanadu’s mantra theme… there might be a vague ode to that monster riff in the post solo interlude section.

How much dffenrece is there between a G1 and G2?

I find it hilarious when guitarists say shit like "oh ____ clearly has better definiton and smoother highs and blah blah blah buzzwords buzzwords buzzwords" They sound almost identical in this video and if this had been a blind test nobody in this comment section would've been able to realiably tell which is which lol

1503 sounds fantastic separately, but 200 sounds good in mix.

I just saw an RH100(dont know if its a G2) for sale for $150 so i wanted to check it out, sounds like its worth more than $150 to me.

(Not trying to be a dick) I want to flat out call bullshit on the rh200 sounding that good. It was my first head purchase 20 years ago and never sounded this good. Always needed a distortion pedal or multi fx to get anything decent from it. Mines the G2 w a cutout faceplate but yours has a solid faceplate. I'm plugging mine in later w just an overdrive to test this. I'll put a response after. Now I have better cabs to put it through. Great playing.

I used to own this amp as my main for the longest time before I earner enough to get my dream tube amps. I have always insisted anyone who wants an amazing, real amp head that will excel at literally any kind of metal, no matter how classic or brutal, even without any kind of overdive needed because it’s so tight and even has really nice, boostable cleans and that sounds literally 10x worth the price through a great cabinet, look no further! Thankyou for doing my praise justice as I don’t own it anymore. It’s role is now filled by a customised Marshall JVM through V30s and G12Ks, 2ch Mesa Dual Rec, though I still have an older, rarer Randall in my collection for the brutal chainsaw!
