    Dude that riffage is fucking magnificent. The map sounds good, especially with the OD on, but dude your song is the most impressive part of this video.

    Its great with the 808od Because that gain's just not enough. I feel like it's something good to have in the studio as a preamp, or even just the direct recording itself.

    Hello,great playing, I like your picking style. I am running a GSP1101 can I use this as a preamp for the GSP 1101. If yes how do you set it up as a preamp only. Can this Peavey amp go without a speaker out if it is connected to my GSP1101 . My sound goes out of my GSP TO A BBE 4882i then to my Mackie speakers.

    This is the best demo I've seen of this amp by far. Have you tried using it as a preampfor another amp?

    • @NumbskullAudioProduction
      @NumbskullAudioProduction  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! I haven't actually, no, and unfortunately I don't have the amp any more so I can't try it, but I bet it would work wonders with a better power amp!

    Hi! I have a same amp and I can't set this sound! :( Can you help me? How do you set it while you have recorded that? How much was the gain and the EQ? And is the Maxon pedal important? A have a lot of od and booster pedals but I do not have Maxon. XD How did you set the pedal? Please help me. :/

    • @NumbskullAudioProduction
      @NumbskullAudioProduction  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there. The volume was all the way up, the Tone was at about 10 o'clock, and the gain was on 6, with the Maxon OD808. I don't think it matters if you have the Maxon or not, just a good boost would do :)

    Hey bro! Nice video!
    You used a 4x12 marshall cab 1960A, right?
    And which pedal used as a boost on this video?

    • @NumbskullAudioProduction
      @NumbskullAudioProduction  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, thanks! It was a Marshall 1960A, yeah! And the boost was a Maxon OD808. Cheers!

    nice Jackson ! which modell is it ?

    • @NumbskullAudioProduction
      @NumbskullAudioProduction  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a Japanese SLAT3-6. They stopped making them around 2010/11, but you can still find them here and there second hand. They came stock with EMG 81/85 but I swapped them out for Seymour Duncan Distortion/59 (just my preference). Cheers!

    what use pos processing?

    • @NumbskullAudioProduction
      @NumbskullAudioProduction  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Typical guitar EQ (hi-pass, lo-pass) and a little reduction at about 2khz (very 'hissy' and noisy in that area)

    CAn this handle 2 x 4x12 cabs?

    • @Ottophil
      @Ottophil 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Banking money minimum of 4 ohms. So if they are 8 or 16 ohm cabs then yes. If either cab is 4 ohms, then no.

    • @Ottophil
      @Ottophil 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Banking money having 2 cabs puts them in paralell and cuts the ohms in half. 2 8ohm cabs will be 4 ohms, or 2 16ohm cabs will be 8 ohms. Both are cool. But two 4 ohm cabs will be only 2, and that is too low. Hope i helped

      Numbskull Audio Production ts808 has more gain and compression hhaha, thanks! I waiting for mine, just need the cab :(

    • @NumbskullAudioProduction
      @NumbskullAudioProduction  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, different circuit, but still does the same job in boosting the signal and tightening the amp :) Though I still think this amp sounds great without a boost for rock.

    Haha, man, I've got one of those too! And by one of those, I mean that guitar cable in the background - metallic with the red band around it...
    But after a year, what are your thoughts on this amp? Does it get a lot of use?

    • @NumbskullAudioProduction
      @NumbskullAudioProduction  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      No unfortunately not. So little in fact that I moved it on. That's not because of the amp itself, it's because I have other methods for home practice use which I find more convenient, such as plug-ins and other little practice amps. This is the perfect home rehearsal amp though, thanks to the fx loop, if you want to rehearse songs for a show that require switching etc. I'd absolutely still use it if it were my only method of home-level amplification.

    Cuando van hacer un tutorial en una sala como corresponde , fondear el equipo y q el batero le de hasta por los huesos y ahí saldrán las mejores opiniones de amplis. Uno compra un equipo para tocar en vivo en lugares chicos o grandes y para el uso más continuo q es el ensayo
    Por Dios quiero verlos en una sala!!!
