Does Mike Evans have a case as the best wide receiver of the last 10 years?
I used to joke with buddies, that if Holt had a better (and more marketable) hairline, they would've made that bastard into the next Jerry Rice. Alas, he was nearly bald by like age 26. So, no bueno.
@deeohen8344 I had never thought of that honestly. Wonder if he would have just kept it clean shaven like MJ would that have made the difference. Shame he hasn't been elected to the HoF.
Cool vid
Fitzgerald = the Tim Duncan of the WR's.
@danbills Absolutely. Quiet excellence is overlooked so often in sports.
Jordy Nelson and Marvin Harrison Sr are also great receivers that dont get talked about enough.
@kevinvest9693 I have a growing list over here that I will revisit in the future for sure.
aj was a monster in fantasy football.
@wellitsherenow Absolute beast for nearly all of the 2010's.
6:58 Valiums???
@CaseyWinehouse Yea, yea lol. Volumes could have been pronounced better 😂
Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt were both great players in their respective careers. They were enjoyable to watch in the NFL
@blakebrown84 Agreed!
isaac bruce and torry holt were really fun to watch when i was a kid
@YaBoyBTrue Still can't tell you which was better. Depends on the day for me.
Was Isaac Bruce the greatest 'glue' guy ever?
Do not fear. Stay faithful. God got you.
Jimmy Smith with the Jaguars - wasn't a diva and further overlooked having played in Jacksonville
@drayiii980 Jimmy was a very good player. Keenan McCardell also comes to mind when I think of the Jags. Some organizations are simply overlooked as a whole.
Art Monk
I'd take Henry Ellard over aj green. Og was was tier 1
Great vid! I always crack up at how Holt is called a "system player", yet Rice isn't lol. Rice played in the same West Coast offense system his entire run in San Fran and Oakland. And ALWAYS had an MVP QB under center. Holt played most of his Rams' career with Mark freaking Bulger at QB
@nujeru99 It's strange how some guys are labeled that while others aren't. For me, Jerry's career is nearly untouchable because of how durable and consistent he was. He benefitted from the system, but almost nobody has stayed that consistent and healthy.
Why is not Megatron in here? The best non diva WR in the past 20 years. Teams truly feared him.
@LuisMercadoorg MegaTron has been an interesting one for me. I haven't covered him as of now for the list because I think his physical gifts were so immense nobody overlooked him. He is the most physically gifted WR I have ever seen and to your point, he was NOT a diva.
He wasn’t overlooked
Ahman Green should definitely be on this list
@calebdouglas7622 I have a running list and plan on adding names. Green would be a good one for the future.
@17:14 coach was P!SSED! 🤣 He wanted that more for Larry "Give em Fitz" than anybody! 💪🏽
@BirdFromYakiVegas RIP Denny Green. All time great coach.
Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals for his entire 17-year career (2004-2020) 🫡💪🏽
Luv your Editing skillz 💪🏽 "I got a guy, who's got a guy.....who knows a guy" 😁👍
@@BirdFromYakiVegas Thanks, I have been walking a balance with clips vs my narration. Appreciate the feedback!
Donald Driver and Sterling Sharpe whom are both legends for my Packers were severely overlooked for the HOF and in my opinion have the resume to get in.
@calebdouglas7622 Sharpe is a what if to me, because of the injury. He is fighting an uphill battle even with the All-Pros. Reminds me a lot of one of my personal favorite backs, Todd Gurley. Who I also don't think ever gets in. Driver is different because he was a quality player for a long time, but he was in one of the best periods for WRs ever. Adding them to my list for the series but not sure either gets into the HoF unfortunately.
Fitzgerald & close friend both were in nfl how they hunted rabbits for bounties & meat adds to their legends.🎉🎉🎉
Chris Chambers from the dolphins 🐬 I wish he could’ve played with Marino and Shula
@dumisatonyjohnson8145 The guy I always remember from the Dolphins was Oronde Gadsen. Not sure why, Chambers was the better player but my guess is because Gadsen was there right at the end of Marino's time.
Chris Chambers was tough as nails. No drops. Hines Ward was right there too.
@bbryant9455 It's a strange blind spot, but I think it's because of Dan's retirement. I was a big fan of his and it feels like until the last few years the Dolphins were in NFL purgatory.
@@theunlikelysuccess I hear you! My older brother is an old school dolphins fan in his 50s. He says it all the time to where I can hear it in my head. "It's a shame we never got Dan a running game"
@@bbryant9455 Dan belongs in everyone's top 5 and the only reason he isn't is because of how bad their defense was for most of his career.
Anquan Boldin isn't talked about enough he may not have the flashy numbers but dude was one of the most consistent receivers I've seen plus he wasn't loud dude just played ball
@Allen-x5i Boldin's name came up during Kurt Warner calling the Rams game. He compared Puka to him, and it got me thinking that I may need to revisit doing a video on Boldin.
@theunlikelysuccess please do he's like the Fred Taylor of receivers. Fred Taylor doesn't get the recognition he deserves neither does Boldin. Appreciate your work
@@Allen-x5i Thanks. They are fun to make and most of the reception has been pretty good. I'll add Anquan and Fred. He's one I thought about for the original RB video.
Torry Holt belongs in the Hall of Fame
He will get in this time
@alexhuerta4736 I think this could be the year.
Love your vids man. Great way to give the non-diva receivers some love. Always seem like these guys always get overlooked specifically Holt and AJ Green. Just an honorable mention, though I don’t think he is on the same level as these guys but Derrick Mason was another very under appreciated receiver.
@onunka16 I really appreciate the feedback and the suggestion. I will be coming back to this series for sure, and there will be guys that aren't so obvious. The 8 covered between this video and the first are all HoF worthy or pretty close but I don't want to limit it to just guys who will get in. Mason will be added to what is a growing list of players for the future. I thought him moving from the Titans to the Ravens was interesting considering that rivalry.
