Something interesting after mark is doing his work and we see Gemma with the vitals and such… in season 1 when they’re showing helly how to do the job, they tell her the numbers will make her feel repulsed or something like that. Some kind of negative connection to the innies and the numbers on their screen would make sense if mark is directly involved with Gemma’s recovery or something along those lines… might be a stretch but something look for

Great catch on the Lexington letter with Peggy.... On Helly's re-entry: They have every incentive to replace Helly with Helena, but, on a meta level, is that too easy.... we would lose her, our Helly; perhaps they sent in a version of Helly that must keep her hands inside the car... or it will be explained that their nefarious plot is one based in faith and they believe, for some reason, that a Mark who will accomplish his tasks must have a "genuine" Helly R. Would Helena have made the apartment/gardener error? Or is that a real Helly working fast.

Gemma getting severed due to something to do with childbirth makes sense to me. For one, the candle she makes is the same colors as the chip.

When Mr Milkshake shows Mark S. the daily edition of 'The Kier Chonicle' about the Innie Uprising, the newspaper has vital clues. It is edition number 51,903. And it started in 1893. This effectively makes the current date in Severance somewhere in 2035!

My theory is the numbers are related to cryptographic cracking and Lumen has created a technology which allows humans to experience emotional reactions to factorials of prime numbers. Look at the numbers again. There is information there. Lumen’s tech is powered by quantum computing, but there are too many parallel universes to sift through, and it’s the human’s (severed employees) emotional reactions which sift through the monstrosity of data to identify the prime numbers used in the actual target cipher used in our universe. This explains the time sensitive nature of their work, the patterns in the prime numerical sums we see, and the emotional reactions displayed.

I enjoyed and comprehended this good video at 65% playback speed, which TH-cam allows on the laptop, (but not in the TH-cam channel I have on my Roku). The only thing I would change is to not use any background music. Your voice is distinctive enough without background music to distract from your delivery.

Ms. Huang is a clone of Gemma. Dario is a clone of Irving. Gwendolyn is a clone of Helena. Mark W. is a clone of Mark S. There's no Dylan, so my theory is admittedly flimsy in parts. Severance 2x2 recap when

I noticed that the newspaper picture is a cut & paste from season one. It's from when Mark replaced the original with Petey in it.

I think all management could be innie personalities. But also possibly dead originally so their outies are technically dead. All the Mr and Ms personas could be either revived/rebuilt dead people or clones. Cobel had a medical device tube in that episode where she's at home worshipping Kier. The Ms Huang from season 2 was a crossing guard, possibly knocked down (speculation) and Ms Casey died. Love these theories!

i thought he had some kind of outside relationship with helly when i saw that orientation scene. it always felt like they were so intimate, idk.

How did this video fail to mention Helly lying about what she saw on the outside? Speaking of which, that’s Helena, not Helly. Look at the way she hesitatingly receives Mark’s hug when she first comes off of the elevator. Then look at how they show Milchick having no difficulty finding the on/off switch on his computer followed immediately by “Helly” fumbling to find hers - likely because she’s never used her computer before. And then there’s her lie about what she saw on the outside. There was zero reason for Lumon and Helena to ever let Helly exist again. That’s Helena.

🤔 The work that macro data refinement must be really important, and Mark S's squad must be the best at it. My theory is that the work they do--encircling numbers and wrangling them into bins--is what makes Severance possible. Otherwise, why would Mark S have so much leverage?

Gemma already worked for lumon and was severed.. mark didn’t know and the excuse for the car accident is still unknown but perfect for lumon because after Gemma was resuscitated they severed her and she can’t remember the accident or mark or anything for that matter.. Mark on the other hand doesn’t suspect lumon and truly decided to get severed to deal with the pain but based on season one discovery is about to try to crack the case

Just a couple of notes: at 5:16 you spelled “vault” incorrectly. At 6:52 you said Juliette Nichols gave the watch to her dad but we know Dr Nichols received the watch from Bernard. And my last comment is related to Billings. I feel like the writers dropped the ball with his sickness. Unless I missed something, it was never spoken about after his wife mentioned that his hand shaking stopped while being in the down deep and not taking his meds. Was there a conspiracy? If so why are certain people chosen to have the sickness?

After rewatching the series I'm convinced that Ricken graduated from Zoolander's "Center for Kids That Can't Read Good." Come to think about it, that plot also used brainwashed models, I wonder if they share a universe 🤔😂
