Hopper had a mind of its own lol.
The ball hopper has a mind of its own.
Grab as tight as possible? Such bad advice. I laughed when the ball hopper decided to go. He had enough of this nonsense.
is that Biden wandering off or your ball hopper
좋은 강의 감사합니다~
Is it true for running forehand? Since we will not have time… good video
Explanation is too long. Should be max 30sec long video
Thank you for such a good explanation. This is one of the most misunderstood parts of the kinetic chain.
😮
Thanks,now I got it.😊
I enjoyed this video but wish you finished showing your tips with a live ball
There is no such thing as open stance....at contact is always closed
Excellent
like this a lot. please do more of the same with different types of shots. high forehand/backhand, approach shots high & low, etc.
would like to see it demonstrated with a live ball at the end at least
Love your explanations and demonstrations ... I especially like how you include showing the "wrong way", which resonates with me 🙂.
This worked pretty well for andy roddic
good lesson. take a step after the swing. I wasn't sure about the sequence. thanks
Clever✌️😲✨👏🏼👏🏽
that helped
Excellent video thanks. Hip rotation is so important in order to avoid using the arm only. Great job looking forward to more excellent stuff.
The tennis ball cart got bored and went looking for some balls.
That’s is the topic you haven’t discussed so far. I wonder for awhile, now it shows up that’s really makes sense and crystal clear explanation. Thanks so much. Love it!
Thank u. I am having this low elbow issue
Hi Katya, for the semi-open stance, is it the same advice on how to use the hips like you showed for open and closed stance?
I am not loose at all, and gave myself a bad case of tennis elbow (almost a year!). I recently took a lesson and the instructor noticed that instead of following through on my forehand, I was stopping the racquet and putting stress on my arm. Wish I would have known that sooner!
great video thanks gr, from Holland
Very good video, precisely at the stage when i am trying to learn how to better engage my body in movements
So while you wait for the ball, and during the backswing, you hold on to the little hamster, without hurting it, but right before contact, you crush the hamster. Did I get it right?
Yes was proberly will happen is that you open too eraly (the hip.) and the ball will go out side the side (you hitting crosscourt) line and out. And the stroke will be a week one and with no controle.
👏👏
The required muscles are not loose
yoooo, i live in hawaii! do you guys do lessons at all?
We do, you can send us an email to ask about specifics. Here is our email address: revolutionarymotionx@gmail.com
I love your videos, but something's wrong here. If this accurate, how could you possibly use Pete Sampras's two-finger serve technique? Tightening up after the trophy position feels like a power killer.
great tip🎉😊
Thank you! :)
Helpful tips. Thanks. My hitting partner throws his racket away on the forehand sometimes, when he wants to hit really hard. Is it Ala Moana tennis courts? windy and cool, no wonder the cart was riding wildly. Thanks again.
Yes, we're filming in Ala Moana from time to time :)
I noticed the familiarity surrounding, just guessing. Your lessons are very valuable. Can’t thank you guys enough. It does improve my technique stroke, especially forehand. I “work”, I mean putting your lessons into practice, with my partner.
I have a question when you feed balls to students or to start an initial warmup I heard you are supposed to use a continental grip and hit it flat is this true?
Yes, when feeding- making ball easier to hit is key- therefore Continental grip and flatter balls are easier to return.
A bonus tip for you. Watch the ball while racket hits it! Yes, it’s only possible when feeding balls and it makes a huge difference in consistency. Try it and let me know.
@@watcher687 You are absolutely 💯 right ✅️ Thank-you!
Excellent info ! Coach Kata! Out of 10 being the tightest is it a 3 or a 4 to hold racquet?

Good instructions. Looks like the court is by the ocean?
Thank you! :) Yes, we are fortunate to work out of Hawaii most of the time so the ocean is never far :)
Great vids as always. I’m freaked by the ghost ball cart!
Thank you! :) It never gets boring in Hawaii ;)
Strong wind
I think the R2D2 ball hopper took offense at what you were saying and decided to back up. Great video.
Haha Thanks for the nice words! :)
Good video...and good instructions. Except for the paranormal activity on the ball hopper 0:49
Thank you! Glad, the wind created some laughs :)
very clearly explained, thank you
You're very welcome! :)
Another excellent tutorial 👍
thats why good schools start with open position :):):)
Great video! Keep trem coming please
Simple yet effective explanation
Thank You, not enough videos on the foot work, this was great.
Excellent Lesson.....
Excellent advice. For years I never realised that my arm was doing all the work. Periodically doing a video of yourself really helps too - it's amazing how the reality of what you actually do can differ from what your mind's eye thinks that you do.
The serves were out
