No no no, please come back! xD This run is definitely not the standard. Even other top runners don't want to contend with this category due to RNG. Both 100% NMG or Glitchless are a lot more sane to run than this lol.

If its unrestricted 100% then it would be a lot worse (th-cam.com/video/o41AvCgWXq8/w-d-xo.html ). If it's NMG or glitchless then yeah, those are a lot more chill. I've played hundo nmg a couple times but haven't really put in a grind. Maybe one day.

Lol, yeah the vfx are something else if you mash. If you can keep up a 15 HZ mash or higher it can melt the face plate faster than just holding down Y. Actually, even 12 HZ might more or less keep pace with the continuous fire, but that's not good enough of course. How much faster it really is depends on the EMMI and I didn't make any time comparisons so I couldn't say for sure. Just to give you an idea, for the white EMMI it is possible to get a plant kill (where you melt and destroy the emmi from the same spot without moving) with just the continuous fire rate. With a high fire rate you'd be able to make the plant kill more lenient and start charging your omega blaster maybe 0.5s to 1s sooner. On the other hand for the purple EMMI I believe it is not possible to plant kill with just the continuous fire. You would actually enable the plant kill so, not only are you able to charge the omega blaster sooner, you're saving several seconds versus a less efficient kill where you may have to jump over, etc. That was a nice TED talk. I do double thumb mash with A. There are tutorial videos out there on how to do it, and I adapted it for the pro con.

Yeah.. I just suddenly unlearned it lol. It felt so frustrating to mess it up because I've been doing this so consistenly and then suddenly choked both my runs out of emmi warp to the same clip.

Idk, just charge beam, lean on the flipper, press L to get pushed back, crouch, aim at the other end of the flipper and morph. There :)

@ I managed to do it with the old setup but I’ll try this one next. I didn’t know that you had to morph for this setup (I just saw a crouch turnaround when you shot the blob).

⁠​⁠@@ArkandyI figured it out. I just didn’t press free aim long enough and that’s why my shots hit the right side of the flipper.

@@eaa1338 Oh yeah, you can hold free aim for as long as you want before you shoot. This setup is very easy to do, there's no specific timings or anything - just getting the correct angle. You don't have to do it as fast as I did!
