Speed 400 feels like it wants to do way more than how I ride it. Every moment I ride it, it's like screaming at me to push harder. It's such a fun bike!

I have to ask, who would buy a 4oo cc bike if their looking for ultimate performance? My 27 year old Yamaha has 44 horsepower which for the last 15 years has been more than enough. That Triumph is an all round wonderful and beautiful motorcycle.

Nice riding G! I have a 2008 ninja 650. And yeah it does pull. I have a racing exhaust and air filter with the ecu flash and its plenty fast enough to screw yourself up on. Easy handling too. Man this was a joy to watch thank-you!

The guy on the Yamaha XSR rides how I ride, never crossing the centerline! I enjoyed every corner on this video, it reminded me of my time in Japan!

What, besides an additional disc and caliper, makes a 650 ABS retail for $3000 more than a 500 ABS?

I think if wanted a Daytona I'd go for the old 675R 2014/15. Shame Triumph didn't put the 765cc engine from the Street Triple RS in this, but I guess this would have impacted sales of their STriple 765RS. This Daytona 660 sounds a bit like a bag of spanners. Non adjustable suspension means it's a no for me. I hope you have kept your VFR.

Nice video. Shame you didn't have more suitable new rubber and an aftermarket rear shock to improve the suspension. How do you get the extra 9hp up to 107 if you have a 98hp model like me? Mine's a 1998 bike pushing out 98bhp. I had it on a dyno about 2 years ago. It's only done 6k miles still like new. This is John McGuiness riding a £500, 100k miles, VFR800 5th gen flat out at Snetterton: th-cam.com/video/bMWXwsGUGM8/w-d-xo.html Imagine being on those litre sport bikes and John passes you like you are standing still. Hilarious and testament to how good the VFR800 actually is. Pedigree.

Metzler karoo4 are really good off road, even good on dry tarmac they were on the gs 1300, at least.

This motorcycle is a shame. They gotta improve the engine to compete in the category. 95hp and 270 crank is a must nowadays for the class. As well as a lighter frame and a little more aggressive triangle. I mean, come on Kawasaki, this bike is more boring and weak than the Ninja 500.

@7:55 did you shift gears without the clutch. This doesn't have a quick shifter

a bmw r60 had 40 horsepower and a r75 had 50 hp. + 200 kg.. People drove them around the world. Why should it be not enough ?

Owner of a red '98 FI. Hideous gas mileage, fantastic V4 midrange. Easily pops a no-clutch wheelie even with a 120 kg rider like me. I have thumb arthritis, so i had to install an Oberon clutch, risers and extra padding on grips. Still my pride and joy after 80.000 km. Still have to replace the rear shock, it's completely stiff.

I did the Ring on the same bike 😃thoroughly enjoyed it!

Flash the ECM with USA dyno shop tuning and it will be faster than your GS, it will get the the TA 750 engine up to 106 crank hp with K&N air filter.

How many sprockets would to recommend for Speed 400
