They should buff the fire rate and the ammo capacity of the Gatling cannon to make it actually feel like a minigun. To balance it out, slightly decrease the damage
They are definitely capable of it. They buffed the Alex's arm gatling gun past the previous 600 RPM limit to 720 RPM. That would have been a cool change for Unit 5 as well.
What I’ve realized is an effective way to deal with transforming tanks is melee into tackling. I’ve noticed when playing them that getting hit by a tackle sometimes does insane damage to your legs and can severely cripple your fighting ability. Suits like the GM III Powered that has a strong tackle and downswing is like the worse case scenario as a tank player.
I think it's better to give GU5 “Stabilization Device” than overfeed, in the end you have to stop moving to use gatling which is the main point of this ms.
They should give the unit 5 a skill just like that is available in silver bullet suppresor the one that make the ms take less stun build when crouching (i dont know what is the skill name)

Why stop with Unit 5's gatling Gouf Custom's shield gatling could also use a fire rate buff too.
other than the ammo capacity, that's pretty much the unit 5 BST version of it. way faster stun build up and fire rate but far less damage per hit.

For something called a gatling gun it sure shoots like an average assault rifle instead and to make it worse, you can't even shoot it while moving.
If they were to give it a dodge roll like the others it would be good

Idk if the bst types have two rolls but it definitely could work giving the base ones a single roll and the bsts 2
