That actually is a pretty nice buff for this suit. This and the BST version are the only suits I've consistently had the NPCs on my team downswing me thinking I'm doing nothing while I'm charging the mega beam.
There's no way you can convince they don't just draw random names from a pile and buff accordingly. Don't get me wrong, this huge set of buffs is definitely welcomed. But there were a lot of suits utterly left behind (OG Gundam, Gundam MK-II, pretty much every Support type Full Armor Gundam, etc) and some suits which are in dire need of nerfing as well.
@@Zer-cv8veProbably someone wanting MA. But it's still a ranged general, with support-like qualities. The only thing I really wish it had was a bit more natural melee defense, and some buffers for those big shoulders. Or just expand the hitbox for the I-field, which never gets hit in 90% of matches. Also, they could let it use the missiles, which would feel balanced if it could only do so in MA mode, where it currently runs out of weapons quickly once you fire the rifle. But I still think it's in a decent spot right now, and just requires someone to know how to play it (stay back from enemies most of the time), and is also suffering with Demeter, Cannongan and a few other units able to take out big chunks of HP or the legs if they get into melee range. But trying to build for decent melee defense doesn't majorly change it, and it costs you the auxiliary generators that let it keep up the great DPS and combo potential.
I'm hoping this batch of buffs goes over so well, that they start buffing 15ish units a month. Probably not as many totally reworked and new weapons, as that definitely takes more design time and money. But hopefully more underused and majorly power crept units get enough love to make them at least mediocre, like basically everything from this last batch. I don't think players would complain unless they actually did 20-30 major adjustments each month, and players felt like they couldn't keep up with the drastic changes.
Imagine a 550 unit called gundam (AR) that’s space focused general with br,dual locket launcher, beam saber or beam javelin as swappable melee weapon, double beam saber as sub melee, head vulcans One of the significant skill would be “anti funnel manoeuvre “,which it takes reduced damage from funnel weapons and increased mobility when locked on and attacked by funnel, another skill would be mobile shooting as amuro raised the shield when moving and shooting
One thing ive been saying for a while they finally seemed to noticed: "give suits halfway decent vulcans and build stun tools, and they become far more playable".
Basically a 450 Zeta HML who can dodge at any time but has to charge the rifle so it stuns. Conversely, cycle rifle with spot gun snd launcher to deal annoying damage. Sheesh.
the buffs this and the unit 5 got are fucking nuts they actually make me wanna come back to the game (i cant its too toxic and i dont have a hardline connection capability rn)
I know it wouldn't be balanced but god damn do I wish these hyper-megas and all those had this. FAZZ(600) would go insane with that and I want it so badly despite how broken that would be.
First thing: you accidentally showed the Lv2 build for the 450 match. Would love to know what you actually used there, though I assume its similar. 2: I saw the HiMo Support Galbaldy in the first match, and was wondering your thoughts on that buff. It felt pretty minimal. I understand that the unit is slow because its a himo unit thats loaded with heavy weapons, but i feel like something should boost fire, and that it could still use some more build stun. I know it can melt a general if you pull off a combo with basically all the weapons, but thats so easily interuppted. Maybe even Balancers, so it can at least downswing for protection and further continuing its combos? The whole kit just kind of feels like it doesn't have much regard to meshing with the other weapons, so it does a little of everything averagely, but it doesn't work towards any specific goal or even have a niche or gimmick.

It’s weird knowing the wrist gun actually has usable range now
bout to eat good with post buff videos, hope to see buffed S gundam soon
It's funny that if Unit 4 were able to shoot without charge in the lore, Unit 5's life purpose would be gone
Funny part: before this, after one shot melee was basically this suit's only real option for damage. Now the shooty Gundam actually shoots.
The Unit 4 looks fun but the shenanigans they gave for the Unit 5 is nasty. Its Gatling chews up suits good.
Great timing, I JUST built the Master Grade of this gundam a couple days back and was looking around for GBO2 gameplay of it!

You should try playing the GM White Dingo after this. The proto beam rifle has a second charge now that basically wipe out 50% ppl’s hp
They buffed this and the unit 5 plus the (BST) variants but not the original

A buff for the EX-S would have been noice
@@Zer-cv8ve The Ex-S did get buffed
A better buff to the Ex-S would've been nicer, it's still pretty bad
@@Peppermint_747 What kind of buff would that be, then?

All the buffs and yet no buffs for the original gunam lmao
my personal cope, they are thinking about how to do it right without upsetting grandpa fans

You should do a video ranking the top buffs of this patch or something like that. I'm surprised you don't do videos going over the balance changes.
grandpa on the corner crying while grandpa siblings got buffed instead
Can’t wait for this buff on Steam, I practically main this suit and the BST version!

I’m so mad after 10 matches with this suit before the buff I finally got a decent match to make a vid on. And now it gens buffed☹️Genuinely upset😭
Does anyone notice that particular D- player in the second match? They tried really hard.
Sick!
Would you do a video on the Gelgoog Xanthos? I think it's probably one of the biggest winners in this patch, feels quite powerful now
This patch has 30 buff but Grandpa still not have it😢
Another reason to debuff parts breaking in gbo3
