This was a wonderful video. Because I was born in 1949 I know many of the things your dad remember ed. Pot pies, one of my favorites back then and they had both top and bottom crusts that were so delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. As the saying goes “Thanks for the memories”

Great reading week, and don't worry you think its too long. I love your reviews on your books. Most of your books are very different than what I read, so it is interesting what you say about them. Good to know about the Christmas in Paris book, that you had to pace it. I don't think it would affect me, but you never know, I usually become sad on some non-fiction books. A deep thank you. It takes courage to be that honest but it is so helpful for other people to see none of us are alone in our struggles and it's helpful to see good examples of how we can take care of ourselves. Nadine is a good, kind buddy. I hard-DNF'd a book this year because of a trigger. When I told you about it, and told you I considered throwing it in the trash because I didn't want to pass along its (non-fiction) animal cruelty to some other unsuspecting soul, you confirmed I absolutely could do that. That meant a lot to me. I'm with you all the way, Tammy!

I can't wait to see your Dad's video! ❤ I'm so glad you had a good reading week! I totally understand anxiety and depression and being triggered by books. This is why I'm very selective about the books I read (I also do this with movies and TV) and DNF quite a bit. I prefer light, uplifting reads. I also have a good memory so I'll remember the triggering things for years to come. I wasn't feeling well last week so I didn't get a lot of reading done but I watched a lot of Christmas movies which was wonderful. The book I did read was Dead, White, and Blue by Annie McEwen. It takes place in a totally different season than now but I enjoyed it. I'm feeling better now and plan on reading some Christmas books this week starting with A Cross Country Christmas by Courtney Walsh and You Feta Watch Out by Linda Reilly. Have a wonderful week! 🎄

I read 'A Christmas Memory,' about a year or two back. I thought it was good. 'Last Christmas In Paris,' I didn't enjoy.

Tammy, I sent a link to my niece for the Sophie the Mouse books. I think she would love them. And about your buddy read. The thing is everyone reads a book differently and takes it differently. I LOVED The Women and yet there are so many people that said the book was a romance 😮. Maybe your anticipation of Christmas and thinking it was going to be a Christmas book didn’t help. No book is for everyone. Me I’m at the age that what is one person definition of Spice is way didn’t than mine lol.
