I hope you feel better soon! ❤ I haven't read a lot of mice books but my favorite Pixar movie is Ratatouille. I also love the mice in Cinderella. When buying books for children in my life I realized that I read and loved a lot of books as a child with bears. Paddington, Winnie the Pooh, the Bearenstain Bears, and Courderoy are amongst my favorites. So many of the books you mentioned sound interesting. I hope to try some mice books in 2025.
Ratatouille and Cinderella...😍 I especially love GusGus. 🥰 Those are all great bear books. My grandson, who will be 2 years old this weekend, is dressing up as Winnie the Pooh for Halloween. 🥰
Gus Gus is the best best! 🐭 Winnie the Pooh is a great costume for little ones especially if it’s cold where he goes trick or treating. My best friend’s son and daughter are dressing up as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. I totally forgot until you mentioned costumes. They are going to be mice for Halloween! 🐁
Tammy, feel better soon. 🤒. I have Sipsworth on my list. I had heard about it but you review made me want to read it more.😊❤. BTW, I am sending this video to someone who homeschools.
I'm so glad you did this video. It's nice to hear you talk about things you especially love. Girl, I would be flat broke if I lived down the street from Barnes and Noble. Hope you get feeling better soon!
Cute books! I have that cough and hoarseness too. I think I got it from my grandson. He is six and loves to read😊 I would love to live so close to Barnes and Noble.
A Mischief of mice! How adorable is that! Did you know a group of kittens is known as a Kindle? Also the Yiddish word for children is Kinder, so, I used to call my cats The Kinde 😸 When I saw the title of this video I laughed to myself and though you should team up with Storm because she likes, well, more rats, than mice I guess lol. So many cute books about mice! I wish they were around when I was younger.
I don't think this book is quite the same as these mice books. It's a rat book--Firmin: Adventures of a Metropolitan Lowlife by Sam Savage, 2006. Born a runt in the basement of a bookstore, not able to get his share of mother's milk, he munches on books, beginning with James Joyce, ha. Soon he begins to understand and love books. Now he's a rat, still an icky ol' ratty rat, who loves reading and laments not being a human who live the lives in books. Then, he learns that the bookstore is preparing to close its doors. Poor, poor Firmin. May not be your cup of tea, but I found his adventures and emotions utterly compelling. I even laughed out loud several times.
If You Give a Mouse a Cookie is an iconic mouse book.
Oh, yes!!!!!! I totally forgot about that one! Thanks for the recommendation. 😊
