Hi, Tammy! My sister just got me Born of Gilded Mountains for my birthday 😀 So far this month, I've read Rebecca by Daphne de Maurier and The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins. Loved both!
You are doing great on your Bingo board, Tammy! I'm about where I wanted to be, too. I won't get a bingo until the last new book I read this month, though. Yikes, cutting it close. Mouse and His Dog looks and sounds adorable! Definitely going to add that to Santa Granny's Christmas List for the Littles.
I may have to try The Shipwreck Cafe series. I'm always looking for lighthouse cozy mysteries. I think lighthouses add to the mysterious ambiance. Two cozy mysteries that I enjoy that have lighthouses are the Beacon Bakeshop series by Darci Hannah and the Lighthouse Library series by Eva Gates I also love that it has a male main character. A cozy mystery series I enjoy called Cat in the Stacks by Miranda James has a male main character and a wonderful cat. This week I read A Merry Little Murder Plot by Jenn McKinlay, Seams Like Murder by Dorothy Howell, and Love from Paddington (these are the letters that Paddington sent to his Aunt Lucy throughout the series) by Michael Bond. I enjoyed all of them. I'm sure you'll get a bingo next week. I hope you have a wonderful week!
Oh, Cat, I think you would really like The Shipwreck Cafe series. I've not read the lighthouse series you mentioned, but I've read all of the Cat in the Stacks books. It's nice to have a male protagonist every now and then to switch things up. 😁 As soon as I hit Send to this comment, I'm going to see if my Libby has the Paddington book. I love Paddington. 🧸❤️
@@believeinyourshelf Yay! I read the whole Paddington series this year and enjoyed every book. They were the comfort reads I needed. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did! 🧸❤️
I read Iceberg a few months back, I liked it I gave it 5 stars. So far this month been reading middle grade books for Storm's Hallowtween readathon on my kindle and physically reading some library books, right now reading Murder Road by Simone St James.
@@believeinyourshelf not far into Murder Road yet only about 90 pages in, I have read two of her books before, I don't really find them that scary, they are good books, but not mind blowing to me.
I’m doing it at the end of the month so you’re good. If you think of others you have a few more weeks. They don’t necessarily have to be book related. But the nary ingalls question was good.
I'm glad we read Mansfield Park! Jane Austen is one of my favorites.
You are a fun person to buddy read with, Courtney. 😊
You are 1 away from 3 bingos-I bet you get at least one next week. Donna Walo Clancy's Jelly Shop series is also very good.
I think I'll most likely read the jelly shop books. This was my first Donna Walo Clancy book, and I enjoyed her writing style. ☺️❤️

I think you and I have very similar reading tastes. I loved Rebecca and The Woman in White, too! 🥰📚
Oh I'm intrigued by the book Iceberg! It sounds like something I would really like to read. 🍁📚🍁
It's very good. Let me know if you read it, ok? ❤️📚❤️
Oh my heart is sooooo happy that you loved BOGM! 😍😍😍😍
It was a lovely, lovely book. 🥰

@@dagmoon I think all 4 of our little gals will like it. ❤️
I am so glad you are becoming a Jane Austen fan! Mansfield Park is one of my favorites.
I'm reading Lady Jane right now. Yay for Jane Austen. 🥰
👍🏻
Happy reading😊
Thank you! You too!
So many good books to read that I'm never going to get them all done!! They all sound great!!
Haha! So many books, so little time. 📚
I really enjoyed Iceberg. I’m a Titanic book collector.Currently I’ve got 125 books fiction/non fiction in my collection.
Holy moly!!!!!!! I am super impressed! 😲😁 How long have you been collecting Titanic books?
@@believeinyourshelf I’ve been collecting books since 1997 it’s gets harder and harder as each year goes by to find new ones
@@sherylwill3309 have you read the Danielle Steel book that takes place partially on the titanic?
@@believeinyourshelf Yes I have and I do have a copy of it as well

I'm happy to hear you liked Iceberg, too. How are you liking Murder Road? I've read a few Simone St. James books, but it was quite a while ago.

Q&A: What has been your favorite read aloud with your grandkids?
Thanks for the question!!! ☺️
Also doing a question video! I tagged you in my announcement? It’s for blindness awareness month so go to town! The weirder the question the better!
@Readingindarknesss thanks for letting me know. I'm so backed up with videos in my Watch Later tab that I might have seen it too late. ❤️

Do you DNF books easily or are you a "must-finish-no-matter-what" person? Do you just read physical books or do you also read e-books or audiobooks?
Thanks for the questions!!! ☺️📚
