- In this video, my buddy Chris joins me in a build of two drift cars, each with different components. Come along for the ride... or the slide!
Please let me know if you want more RC builds. I absolutely love RC, and they are fun to tinker with in between the larger projects.

i really like kit cars cuz you get to not only feel like an actual mechanic building a car, you get to see the parts and understand how they work, so its both a fun and educating experience
The videography was excellent and I enjoyed your commentary as well. Keep up the good work. 👍
Thank you! I will keep it up!!
Enjoying your video channel. Keep doing what your doing 😊
TMNT PJs FTW
I am glad I'm not alone on this! Thanks for watching!!
It says the last time the playlist was updated was yesterday, so it makes me wonder.... Despite it having been about 2 months since you uploaded this...
Is it true that the MST RMX2 is already an outdated design, because the center of gravity is not further back, and is not being accepted for the official competitions?
I can't speak to the competition ability of this chassis compared to others. I also do not know the rules to all official competitions, but the center of gravity can be adjusted on any chassis by moving components around. Now, do I have fun with it, while drifting with my friends? Can it be adjusted to suit my driving needs? Yes on both accounts. I don't see why, with a good driver, any decent chassis could be competitive, regardless of age.
600th sub right here! Awesome builds!
Thank you for the sub, and thanks for watching!
So cool, good job
Thank you for watching!!
i need to know how much it cost?
400 for the yokomo frame no electronics. Or 450 for rmx ready to drift out the box
Can you guys show everything that is on the yokomo YD , im trying to build one but im completely new to the hobby. Thanks.
Hi Jose, I think I covered everything that is on the YD-2. Is there something I didn't cover that you would like to know?
New to RC drifting. Is the yd2 worth it for the price or just build out a Rmx 2.0??!
I love my RMX 2.0, but since it doesn't have the adjustability out of the box that the YD2 has, much less aftermarket support, and a weak gearbox, it's honestly hard to recommend for a starter chassis. After you repair/upgrade the gearbox, upgrade to adjustable turnbuckles, and aluminum outdrives, you're in it way more than a YD2 out of the box.
@@turtlelaboratories the rmx 2.0S is about the same price as the yd2s and has all the adjustable links and metal outdrives
Any real difference between the two?
There definitely is, but we are both still fairly new to the drift RC scene. I think most the difference is in the electronics and how we have them setup.
What workstation is that where you are doing the builds?
I AkjellRC! They are our Field Benches that we manufacture. You can check them out here: turtlelaboratories.com/products/field-bench-portable-workbench?_pos=8&_sid=f75c119e0&_ss=r
Great video, whats the tunability on the Hobbywing 10 120?
It was good, but it lacked turbo and boost functionality, which, after installing it on my chassis, is vital to more fun with drifting. I installed a new XR10 ESC on my rig, in a new video!
Where is the link for the build station? How much?
Hey Eric! You can check them out here: tinyurl.com/2p874h9v Thank you for watching!!
Are you gonna follow through with this series, because I will sub and actually follow you to see what you do with this build....
Hey Sean, I actually uploaded a follow up on the MST on my channel. Somehow, I totally forgot to add it to the playlist! I just made the change. Thank you for catching that!
@@turtlelaboratories .... Thanks for replying, I will be watching it shortly... I just subbed to your channel..
got boost?
In this video, no, but it has it now!
