For AC span ....Rc ki value negative m hogi kya sir qki dono span mai Rc ka direction opposite h
It depends on the direction of Rc. For AC span, I have assumed Rc is acting in an upward direction, and in the right span, it is assumed to act downward. I hope it answers your question.

The integral of (x-1)^2 is indeed (x-1)^3/3 using the power rule of integration.
