I hate to admit this but the first time I but the first time that I watched twice upon a Christmas I hated Donald’s gift and Mickeys dog gone Christmas so much that it ruined the whole movie for me as for the whole Mona Roxanne thing I feel like people wouldn’t complain so much if she wasn’t voiced by the same actress that did Roxanne

I’m not a fan of Twice Upon A Christmas but I love the two moments when Mickey just screams I just find it funny.

It is my opinion that the best version of something is not an opinion. The best version is the one that outcompetes the others in being itself. That means, for every trait of the thing that makes it recognisable as itself, rank each version at how well defined that trait is. This is the logic we use for litterally everything except movies and TV shows. The definitive best weapon in a videogame is the one that is the best at being a weapon in the mechanics of that game. The best game in a genre is the one that most exemplifies the traits of that genre. Ergo the best way to depict Goofy the dog is one that demonstrates all the qualities that make Goofy himself his apearance, his personality, his family, his house, his car, his job...

Something I love about watching Smash related videos is seeing what franchise(s) the creator of said video adores with a passion, because you went fully in depth for the Pokémon stages, which isn't a complaint but it's something I think is interesting to see whenever watching a Smash video. Also as a Fire Emblem fan I'm glad there wasn't a whole "Fire Emblem bad" segment during the FE portion, although I think I'd replace Coliseum with a stage referencing the Plains of Hoshido from Fates, since that's an important moment from that game (being where Corrin has to make the choice of siding with Hoshido, Nohr, or neither) and it'd hopefully give Fates more than just one music track in game, as it has my favorite soundtrack from the FE series

The Freddy Moore Mickey mouse was the best. He had the most plausible design and personailty. (See...The Birthday Party)

I respectfully disagree with your placement of TGAA2. If anything, The Great Ace Attorney games are the only games that used the 3D to its maximum potential. Like there are some shots and camera work that look genuinely beautiful. I also disagree that the multiple witnesess and the jury complicate the formula. In my opinion that's actually the natural evolution of the formula that the series needed without really changing a lot. But in general, yeah I agree with you. I don't think Ace Attorney had any bad games, just ones that aren't as good as other but I like all of them. However, Ghost Trick in C tier is criminal

Personally i think mickeys best version is in epic mickey, he isnt the happy nonstop postive mouse in clubhouse and such hes flawed and around the beginning you can see hes sort of blinded by fame and when he screws up he hasnt the bravery to fix his mistake due to being so successful making life easy, and so he gos on to continue his career giving him more of a role in pop culture cementing himself as a star but when it all comes to bite him back we can see slowly he starts to build a character fixing his mistakes and learning to deal with problems far larger than a simple puzzle

Poke Floats fr needs to be brought back. Obviously it's not a viable competitive stage, but from a casual perspective it's so much fun. May need to be scaled up a bit though so that players aren't getting ko'd at 50%.

Yeah I dont get your rationale for cutting every N64 stage when some of them (Hyrule Castle 64, Saffron City) are some of the best in series especially for 8 player Smash.

21:43 According to Sakurai, this was a coincidence. There was an Epic Yarn level planned for Smash For, but was replaced by Woolly World. That may explain the sudden urge of Kirby's Return to Dream Land tracks in Ultimate as well, maybe those were thought for this unreleased Epic Yarn stage.

I think I agree with a lot of what you said here, but the blanket cutting of every Smash 64 stage (especially when 64 Kongo Jungle and Yoshi's Island are better than their Melee counterparts) and reducing SMB2 to a Doki Doki Panic reskin when it introduced a lot of major series elements almost make me want to disagree with everything else you said lmfao also cutting Brinstar Depths is insane imo, Kraid deserves to stay in even if I'd welcome the actual layout being changed with open arms

In general I feel like the newer Smash games put too much focus on the newest games both in the stage and character departments. I really liked how Melee and Smash64 made me aware of several characters/franchises from previous consoles, but nowadays it feels like they put much more emphasis on representing the new stuff. (Not saying we don't get anything retro, just that I feel like the balance between new and old stuff is off) Personally I really liked your approach to changing the stage roster by focusing on diversity within ultimate and representing the franchises as good as possible even if I don't agree with all of your choices.

Good point about Turnabout Storyteller, they really trashed too much on Athena. It's jarring because most of it comes from Blackquill, who (I guess this would be SPOILER....), while I understand that he's an edgy boy, buddy, you already lost a trial to Athena, you don't have room to brag so much. Even Franziska and Godot were more graceful losers, and they had reasons to hate Phoenix, unlile Blackquill who presumably likes Athena.
