One of the favourite episodes is definitely "The Message" as it has a very different tone to really anything in series 1. Its not overly quirky or eccentric, nor is it overly disturbing or dark. Its the lull before the storm and it works perfectly as that in my opinion, bridging the gap between the more laid back feeling that was developed in series 1 and the future development of Homeworld as an antagonistic force. And even though I love the music in all the show, I think it was best it was left out, it adds to a sense of semi-unease and grounded-ness. I also love the small arc of Greg feeling useless in the way of literal super-powered space aliens, and realising he has worth before the Ominous message from Lapis which perfectly ends the episode with a feeling of imminent dread.
