As you are no doubt aware, Coded came out for the Nintendo DS. I think the debug area symbol is supposed to represent a spider/bug under the DS button scheme. You know, the A B X Y crosshair? It's kinda evident when the image doesn't look as squished as it does in the video, and I think it's fairly intelligent at representing that feeling that original coded wanted to achieve, where the lower quality of the DS 3D models from the PS ones was intended and not the result of hardware limitations. It's like "oh there's an actual bug under the system you are using and sora is INSIDE that code".
Enchanted Dominion is definitely supposed to be a banner with thorns around it, but yeah, it's still lame. A spinning wheel would have been much more fitting.
In defense if Enchanted Dominion I am personally convinced it’s supposed to be a tapestry. The art direction for Sleeping Beauty was based on medieval tapestries which is why the movie looks so unique. Pretty sure medieval royalty would have had tapestries like that, so the thorns around it would symbolize the castle being taken by the thorns in an interesting way. So it is significant, but also the average person wouldn’t gather all that from looking at it and would need extra knowledge from both the original movies development plus literal history in order to see that so probably not the best idea.
I have the same issue I have with Misali's Smash symbols video, a lot of these feel very nitpicky and inconsistent, like, it feels as if every symbol needs to be wholy unique and original in order to be good. Especailly with how a lot of these are "bad" because they're obvious picks, are taken straight from the movies or are based on a character, I really don't see what's the issue there because they're still recognizable elements from the movies. Sometimes the obvious and simplest picks are the best ones.
Hey there! I found your videos through your kh disney representation and best version of Disney characters list. I really enjoy your snappy and focused delivery and have really wanted to share with you a video I made called “What I love About Kingdom Hearts 2 is…” from my channel. It goes over why I feel kh2 nails the Disney characters and how incredibly well they are integrated into the story and magic of that game which I know is a relatively hot take since most prefer kh1. So if you would be able to watch that and share your thoughts in a comment that would be awesome we I’d love to hear your perspective. Otherwise though keep up the great work and take care!
stumbled upon your channel with a disney video that mentions the paul rudish mickey mouse cartoons, then followed it up with a regular pat inspired video, and now this opens with jan misali…are we secretly the same person? i need to know.
Ummmm. I dont have much interesting to say. I like the heartless symbol? The thorns are cool, I wish they meant more. Heartless specifically don't really have a thorny aesthetic.

I didn't recognize it initially and immediately thought it was the cards from Chain of Memories XD

Fun fact: The negative space on the crown symbol is supposed to look like the teeth of the kingdom key
Putting the Kingdom Hearts Heart symbol on the same tier as a fucking circle is just outrageous. A tier minimum.
