How To: Cutting Cheese into Sticks
One of the most versatile shapes that you can cut your cheese in, if you're going to cut your cheese for your cheese board, is to use sticks. It's simple, you're really just going to be cutting your cheese like that. But let's take it a little further. If you have three cheeses that you want to cut into sticks you can cut some into little short sticks. You could cut some into fat sticks.
You could even cut some into, let's say big sticks. Maybe you're going to do a tasting and you want people to have a nice chunk of cheese. When you put these all together and you put them on your board, each different kind of shape will look different and will help your cheese board enjoyer, or your cheese board guests to be able to go back and have another piece of the one they tried or to try a new one they haven’t yet tried. So think about all your different stick options when you're making your next cheese board and decide which stick is best for you.

    This stuff is delicious! Definitely not for everyone, probably best for people who have experienced a variety of blue and brie cheeses already

    Hello! I am also planning a snack board for an upcoming flight, and was wondering if you take your own cheese on the plane, and can it go without refrigeration for a period of time?

    • @shopboardsandco3629
      @shopboardsandco3629 ปีที่แล้ว

      That sounds great! We hope you're going somewhere fun! We usually get the in-flight meal option and then add our extra pairings to it. You can typically order at least some kind of cheese board from most airlines. Some cheeses CAN go without refrigeration for several hours, hard cheeses like parmesan or aged gouda especially last a long time, but without proper cheese knives they can be a little tricky to cut and eat on a plane.

      Hey there! For this video we don't actually use any tape on our cheese paper, but most kinds of tape will do. Just ordinary gift wrapping tape, or masking tape will work nicely for these styles of wrapping!
