How To: Personal Cheese Platter

  • Well, it's lunch time here and we want to show you some lunches for one. So this is a really great thing. If you enjoy cheese and maybe you had a party the night before, or earlier in the week, or maybe you just like to treat yourself because you deserve it, let’s face it. These are three different ways you can enjoy a lunch for one. So just some ideas. We have some cheese cut up small, a few grapes, salami, and a salami chub, and some really delicious cheese twists, delicious, lunch and no, you probably aren't going to pack a glass of wine, but, you know, a nice sparkling water with a lemon wedge, will be a beautiful lunch. This one, you can eat at home or on the go. And again, beautiful, beautiful colors. Look at the colors on this. This just makes me happy to look at it. We have some watermelon, radishes, a beautiful Alpine cheese, a really delicious aged gouda. It's got salt crystals in it. It's going to be perfect with these grapes and a couple pickles to help mix up the palate a little bit. It's bright. It's fresh. It's sweet. It’s sour, It's a little bit of everything. Perfect lunch. Now our last one, you got a pear in the fridge or even a sliced apple. It's great with blue cheese. The sweetness of the fruit on those fruits will just sing with a blue cheese. We added a little salty prosciutto with this one. We only need a couple slices, some everything crackers. And another little cheese here and it is a perfect lunch. You have a little protein. You have a little fruit. You have a delicious Umami bomb in these. Everything bagel spiced crackers. Lunch - it really can be fancy.
